I don't think it's really "hate" just having fun. I like to get Boom worked up even though I like yao and I can appreciate artest's talent. I would cheer for them if the Hornets were out of the playoffs to beat the rest of the west since outside of the Hornets the Rockets are the closest thing we had for an NBA team since the Jazz left.

I can't hate San Antonio. Grandma, Uncle, Aunt and about everyone else on my moms side is from San Antonio. Plus they don't load their team with a bunch of thugs year after year. Now Dallas, that is a different story. I hate those shitbags!!!

I like it as well. Means you earn it when you get to the playoffs but I can't ever root for a division rival.

I was pretty much born a Cubs fan, and there are more than a few Astros fans in Louisiana who have talked shite to me, so that's where my hatred comes from. I like a lot of their players though.

When it comes to rooting for other teams, I'll take the Hornets over the Jazz, Spurs and Mavs 10 times out of 10.

I really don't get that either. Most of the supreme Astro haters on here are Louisiana natives who jumped on the Cubs/Braves/Yankees bandwagon anyway so it doesn't bother me too much.

Agree with this. The Jazz are my number 1 most hated team followed by the Braves in a close second and the Mavs/Cowboys in a tie for 3rd

I have no ties to San Antonio and I have hated those dickbags and their obnoxious fans (you family excluded of course) since the mid 90's when the Rockets where winning and they were not.

Ya, I NEVER root for them durring the regular season but if the rockets are out of the playoffs (which they have done a lot of the past decade) I will root for the Spurs then the Hornets. My grandma signs every birthday card to me with Love you and Go Spurs at the end cause she knows I hate it.
