What I saw on twitter is that the league has moved away from guys like him… that’s the analytics era doing their thing

He turned down 2 years/$30 million from the Nets to play on a $6 million expiring deal. It’s not quite Schroeder or Nerlens Noel, but he’s cost himself some generational wealth type money.
