They'd either go 2-1 or 1-2 with those 3 in a row

ETA: LSU lost to UK in 07 and would have lost to Moo if not for Who Chad Jones last year

Who Wilbon or you? Of course the CAN beat any SEC team, that does not mean they would definitely beat ALL SEC teams

At no point did Wilbon say "Boise can beat any SEC team". Not sure where the OP got this.

so you do not believe at all that boise couldn't beat vandy, kentucky, and miss state?

I fully believe that they would struggle mightily to beat even those 3 teams in 3 consecutive weeks.

So he said nothing about playing in the SEC...

With that said.. Boise State could probably beat any SEC team on any given day..

Utah pulled off an upset against Bama..

Its very hard for an SEC team to get up for a game like Boise.. Its very easy for a Boise team to get up for a matchup with an SEC team..

therefore he is right.

disagree...they wouldn't beat UF or Bama but I could see them quite easily being 5-3 to 6-2 depending on schedule. They are getting their fair share of athletes now and execute very well.

SEC schools are nothing but athletes...

it's funny how this came up on PTI after we beat this horse dead last week, and they mentioned "especially the SEC"... the rumor is that other shows on the radio read this board. hey wilpon if you see this give SFP a shoutout!!!!

I love the "can't get up for the game" excuse. It would be hard to call the Utah/Bama game much of an upset. Perhaps Alabama was over-rated and Utah under-rated because they dominated every aspect of that game from jump.

I'm sure they could beat an SEC team, but last time they played one, Georgia hate-fricked them into oblivion.

Anyone who thinks Boise St. could legitimately win the SEC is a moron. Of course they could win one game. LA Tech beat SEC Champion Bama in '99. Doesn't mean dick.

just like Ohio State must not be able to "get (it) up" for bowl games against SEC teams.

Of course they technically could. Would they? I doubt it.

I thought Bama was over rated that year and far be it for me to make excuse for them, but lets face it, it was a letdown for them to be in that game, but Utah had something to prove.

Ive never heard an OSU fan use this excuse, have you? Most say that we got outplayed by both Florida and LSU.
