Too much money involved

It’ll be different, and I wasted $$$ on place in Gainesville for LSU game, but if I can currently watch and gamble on European soccer leagues now, I’ll be able to do the same for college football in September.

I think the NFL starts on time even if it is with 0 - 25% fans. There's too much TV money involved plus there wouldn't be the public relations disaster that there would be at the College Level if a lot of players on one team got sick.

I think NFL start on time with 0 - 25% fans and potentially halfway through the season that goes up to 50% fans. Absolute worse case they go the NBA/MLS route and play in a bubble.

College football can't be played in a bubble plus it'll be political with the University Presidents. Never mind the optics that the players don't have a choice if they want to keep their scholarship.

I think best case scenario we have an 8 or 9 game conference only schedule. Non Power 5 schools cancel their seasons and any non-conference games are canceled. This would let them push back the start of the season mid September and potentially be done with even conference championship games in mid November. Spring football is a possibility as well though I'm not in favor of that because it could screw up football the following fall.

So at this point I would say 50-75% chance the NFL season happens this year. 0 - 25% chance College Football happens.

Heart says 75%
Brain says 25%

People keep forgetting, this is an election year. You think the hysteria surrounding COVID is bad now....just wait until OCT/NOV when they can add the Flu mix to it. The media and powers that be are secretly betting on a lost year of sports and hope that we all blame Trump for it in Nov. This whole thing is about an election. They will NOT let this go. Remember who runs these schools....mostly Liberal Deans and professors. They will be begging to shut everything down in OCT/NOV.

About where I'm at. And if they do play, I don't think we can count on the same roster week to week. It's a total crap shoot contingent on a freaking fever or not. If you're a fan spending money to attend, who knows what product you'll see on the field.

50-50 it takes place in some form. O% it takes place in a 12 game format in the fall with all teams participating and playing their original schedules.

0% chance. People that think otherwise are wishful thinking. It sucks. But there is absolutely 0% chance cfb in fall. Nfl (maybe with no fans), thats it.

Teams will practice in fall and have fall game.

Actual games will start 3rd week of March and there will be 7 or 8 conference games and then who knows about bowls.

First 2 weeks of May will be conference championships and bowl games if any. 3rd week of May college championship game if there ya one.

Fall football will resume in August 2021 with practice and games first of September 2021.

0% chance of organized games in 2020 except scrimmages.

100% organized ball plays in March u til no later than 3rd week of May.
