I never said you have to agree that BBB, UHC, college bailouts, or any such things related to that, just that he really hasn’t done much at all and that my problem with him. He’s just been about as mediocre as I could have expected.

No you’re totally fine. You weren’t out of line at all.
I’m pretty right wing and an occasional Poliboard poster but red meat arguments belong there and not here. I disagree with Fewer Kilometers regularly, but we both love movies and television so there’s no reason to let political differences make conversation impossible.
I just meant that our different world views are going to lead us to seeing different causes to our society’s ills, whether it’s gas prices or wokeness in media.

I totally get that and discussions like that are what I like having which is probably why my major is PoliSci
Tame and reasonable disagreements are fine with me gets kind of annoying when it just ends in name calling and ridiculous accusations. Funny enough I definitely have gotten plenty of shite on Reddit for not being harsh enough on Trump or the right. Like yeah I don’t believe the election was stolen and am not a fan of Trump but I also know he wasn’t some Russian agent. I mean the dude spent four years in the Middle East pissing off Putin

If you can have a conversation and not make every single thing Trump does out to do Satan incarnate (or Biden) than there’s common ground.
I’ve had a lot of good conversations with people about abortion and my opposition to it in the late few weeks. I just didn’t treat them like they loved killing babies and that was their only goal and explained I had no desire to control women and then common ground and compromise can be found.

Well in Georgia, you take out as many polling places as possible due to financial concerns so that people in rural counties have to go a fair distance to reach one and in urban places you get to wait for hours. Then you make sure to repeal voter intimidation laws and make sure any district's elected election board can be overruled by a partisan committee at the state level. You also try to gerrymander as much as possible to maintain state level control.
Yeah, it looks like Georgia tries so hard they only give you three weeks of early voting. If only they had 4.

It's almost as if the people who have to wait for hours (God forbid the horror), actually want to.

Then why was nothing ever presented and proven in court. Republicans lost 61 court cases. Nothing was stolen except everyone’s time.

Keystone was unfinished was going to be mainly used for exporting oil.

It was also questionable if it would ever be completed since Canada was even less of a fan of the pipeline.
quote:
You may be able to put some small amount of blame on Biden but overall it has i way more to do with the supply chain crisis that is going around the entire world as well a the oil companies exerting their monopoly by jacking up prices.
1. Keystone XL was intended to carry Canadian syncrude and dilbit, diluted with American crude from the Bakken, to Gulf Coast refineries. The talking point you’re trying to repeat is that the refined products would be exported, not the oil. And it’s a rather nonsensical argument to begin with. The US has been a net exporter of refined products for a long time. That isn’t going to change just because the refineries are buying crude from Venezuela instead of Canada.
2. Canada needed Keystone XL much more than the US needed it. The main problems with Canadian bitumen are that it’s difficult to transport, there is limited export infrastructure in Canada, and there are a limited number of refineries with the ability to process a significant amount of it. Canadian oil sands have been hurting badly since the 2014 oil price collapse. Don’t let the fact that there was some opposition from the Canadian left convince you that Canada didn’t want the export market.
3. No western oil companies have anything close to a monopoly in the oil & gas market. Not since the Standard Oil breakup. OPEC controls oil prices for the most part, the majors are just along for the ride and try to capitalize where they can.

Has anyone here watched the movie yet? If you havnt I suggest refraining from commenting until you do so. And if your opinion still stands and it’s not enough to convince you that at the very least there was some shady shite going on then fine. If anything it’s a great indication that our elections are flawed as hell and they can pay people to flood the ballot boxes with fake ballots to sway an election.

First, this is M/TV opinions are common here without having seen the source material.
Second, I have watched it and gave my opinion on the first page.
The doc can be approached like a prosecution jury argument.
The defense will look at the proffered evidence and determine where inference and leaps are required to get from A to B and they exist in the doc just the same as they did in the Lindell symposium and the 100s of pages of evidence included in "the Kraken" filings. As often as smoking guns and irrefutable proof are offered they have always ended up being vaporware.
The next issue for the defense is impeachment. In this case, the person that compiled and presented the evidence is a former campaign finance felon. This is the sort of red meat defense attorneys dream of for making for a X exam impeachment.
I think it is fair to say this like everything else that has been presented fails to provide a smoking gun. That being said it doesn't disprove the assertion either.
The one thing that always comes up in my mind is why none of the same autists did not revisit 2000. The best case for arguing an incorrect call of a presidential election in the last 50 years comes down to the Brooks Brothers riot and 537 votes. That issue is so much more contained and a much better argument can be made than for 2020.

Well then surely the courts agreed?

All they had to do was flip Michigan, Pennsylvania, & Wisconsin. They decided they wanted Arizona & Georgia too, so they got them too. They focused on Milwaukee, ATL, Philly, Phoenix & Detroit. They used a planned pandemic to set up Mail in Ballots that they could use in their favor. Once the numbers come in, let's see how far behind we are then, boom, we drop the mail in ballots that we know are Biden votes.
We know it happened but since the major media outlets refuse to report on it our liberal friends don't believe us when we tell them it's true. And here we are..............
Fascinating. Surely this was investigated. What were the results of the investigations in all of these states?

nah it's all a huge conspiracy man.
Everyone is lying but Trump and his supporters. There is a huge shadow cabal of people controlling the country. Every judge that denied to hear the case is paid by them. Every news organization who doesn't agree that the election was stolen is paid by them. Every politician Republican or Democrat who has said there is no evidence is paid by them.
Basically everyone who doesn't agree 100% with everything Trump says is in league with this shadow government and if you don't believe that you are obviously stupid.
Signed - Poli Board.

When the pro trump group in Arizona did the audit paid for by republicans they found more votes for Biden
Muh Stolen Election

Well then good thing we have this documentary made by an unbiased source like Dinesh D’Souza to sort this out for us.
Posted on 5/23/22 at 8:35 am to mindbreaker
Doesn’t matter. Campaigning on a stolen election is big money. You don’t need any evidence whatsoever as long as people are happy to convince themselves.

Some folks in AZ got some 'splaining to do:
