Is nobody on this board watching current films and contemporary streaming series? I see nothing related to the 2025 Golden Globes or Oscar candidates Please tell me me I haven't suddenly been reverse transported to Y2K on this board!

Train Dreams duly noted. I might have missed one or two others.

Where the frick is TulaneLSU?

I've been steadily working my way through everything for Oscars Death Race. I'm at 33/50 watched currently. Train Dreams was fantastic. Hamnet was damn near a perfect movie. Give Jessie Buckley all the awards for that one.

Man, I thought I was doing well at 15 . I managed to get most of the Best Pictures before the nominations. Still waiting on The Secret Agent to be available to rent on Tuesday to finish those nominees off. That + Blue Moon and The Smashing Machine are next on my watchlist. A local independent theater has showings for the shorts and documentary short categories so those will be easy to knock out soon.

I hope it wins Cinematography at the very least. It deserves to win the other categories it’s nominated for. Except Best Song. That K-POP song is too catchy.

I would like to see this too. I watched Sentential Value last night and she has some competition. Would be nice to see Skarsgard win over Penn for Supporting Actor.

I still can’t believe No Other Choice was snubbed. Everybody is mad at the Sinners nominations but this is the real crime.

Alien Romulus was surprisingly awesome. Loved the return to pure horror like the original film.
