Does anyone else think that Agent Simmons seems to have the potential betray Coulson?
She really didn't seem to back down much on wanting to send the blood samples to HQ even though Coulson chewed her out pretty good.

I don't know about betrayal, necessarily, but I do like that they're developing the characters that don't just want to blindly follow the orders.
Robots like Ward are annoying.

Sort of. I think she is developing a backbone. You bring up a good point though, she may go behind his back due to Colson keeping her in the dark. Were he to tell her, she would probably toe the line.

yea, perhaps "betrayal" is too strong a term.
but it does seem she is just about ready to ignore his orders to do what she assumes is the right thing.

which would also then be an opening for things like Mar-Vell, the Inhumans, the Skrulls, hell maybe even The Watcher.
They also mentioned the Shi'ar.
The Shi'ar (X-men), Skrulls (Fantastic Four), and Kree (all) are all potential major story archs for other studios.
Marvel appears to be setting up a scenario in which Fox and Sony can jump on board to widen the nets for their own properties in a joint venture with Marvel Studios.

well they did acquire the rights to put the Oscorp building into the Avengers and simply ran out of time to animate it in
I guess the way they would do a crossover would be to say each studio's heroes exist in a different alternate universe.

They could use the threat of Thanos and Apocalypse going across multiple dimensions.
One more thing I remembered:
Sif's line that it was "Odin's order" to bring Lorelei back alive...that wasn't actually Odin giving the orders and Sif doesn't know that...

Also, have you noticed that, with few exceptions, the same actor/actress hasn't played multiple Marvel roles?
Rebecca Romijn: Joan the Mouse (Punisher)/Mystique (X-Men)
John Favreau: Foggy Nelson (Daredevil)/Happy Hogan (Iron Man)
Chris Evans: Johnny Storm (Fantastic Four)/Steve Rogers (Captain America)
Ryan Reynolds: Hannibal King (Blade Trinity)/Wade Wilson (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
Ray Stevenson: Frank Castle (Punisher: War Zone)/Volstagg (Thor)

man, my GF damn near jumped out of her seat at the line.
she is a huge Tom Hiddleston/Loki fan to the point that he has slowly been turning her into a geeked out comic book fan.

This was the main reason why I enjoyed the episode - wondering how Loki the master manipulator was planning to use Lorelei, whose power is manipulating men. Would she be able to control him? Is he immune as a frost giant?

Well they did say that she can only affect some people with strong will if she also touches them. She had to lay her hands on Ward to gain full control even though I assumed she was already getting to him a bit since he didn't shoot her in the kneecap as soon as he got the drop on her.
I guess as long as Loki keeps her hands off of him he should be fine.

Easy to say, but presumably thor would be controlled, who could easily subdue Loki so he could also be controlled.

ok so why didn't we have a AoS show tuesday? Are they finished for the season or are they taking another 1 month break?

I think it's coming back in a couple weeks. They must be behind on production.
