I think I remember Garrett telling Ward when they released all the prisoners, "that will keep Coulson busy for awhile", or something like that. Maybe we'll get some other villains down the line from that Fridge prison release.

When Garret was injected with the super formula stuff, he lit up like the super soldiers from Iron Man 3. Should we assume this is some kind of way related or was this already covered in Centipede storyline in the 1st part of the season.
Also i guess we can assume Fitz and Simmons survived being dropped out of the plane.

It was covered early on in the season that Cybertek was using Extremis technology. When the injection jumpstarted him, I imagine it fired that up as well.

I'm guessing that since that room was designed to fall out of the plane there were some sort of seats that F&S could strap in to have some sort of protection.
I'm also guessing that unless Garrett is too whacked out on the alien drug he will know a massive chunk of plane was dropped out and will assume that Ward once again went soft when he was ordered to execute a friend/companion.

That is a safe assumption since they showed Fitz get the homing beacon quarter from Triplett and they showed it again when Ward caught him reaching into his pocket. Maybe Fitz will seal the deal with Simmons while they are adrift at sea.

This is what I thought it said also. Or Brand something. I think in the comics, the Brand Company is a science/tech subsidiary of Roxxon Oil Company. Or something like that.
They created various super villains, but I cant remember which ones.

Has this been renewed yet for a season 2 or is it looking that this may be a 1 and done? I hope we find out who Skye is before the season ends.

it has not been renewed officially yet but all the trade websites seem to think its going to get picked up for a second season mainly b/c its a way for Disney/Marvel to keep pimping their various movies for an hour a week.
IMO it seems like a lot of what is happening now is to help familiarize people with aspects of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Right now speculation is SHIELD will be renewed for 16-22ish episodes and then during the mid season break they will air a 13 episode season of Agent Carter.
