It’s outstanding. It looks like money well spent, and they paired it with the writing and voice actors to fit.
And speaking of Jinx, the fight scene in E2 is so far my favorite. The subtle glances & expressions… holy frick! The editing! It’s a masterpiece.

Alot of that cost was creating the animation tools, production etc. They can re-use that for future shows and hopefully keep the level of quality the same.

This is my only problem with dropping the whole season at once. If they did it episodic it would draw a bigger crown because your post just made me watch episode 2!
There are a lot of people that will miss this show entirely and so far season 2 is really good

Weekly is tried and proven to be better for generating word of mouth. This 3 act thing they're trying, I guess it's because they already know it's only running for 2 seasons, but I hope they move away from this stunt.
I was able to spread it out over 3 days.

I think if they'd have done that this season the anticipation would have been off the charts. Every damned episode has been an absolute banger.

So I'm letting Act 3 take its time. Wow, what a different vibe so far. Personally, I'm not so much a fan of time travel, multiverses though. Going "there" somehow makes everything mean less. Screw up? Just jump in the Quantum realm, go back, and fix things. Events don't have real world consequences anymore. Not that THIS story doesn't make it interesting. There's the classic Catch 22 of trying to fix events but also losing something dear in the process. There's no Easy button, it seems. Everything comes with a price.
I just think it's not the best way to tell a story. Adds a lot of filler but with no real substance.

Riot has said that although this is the last season of arcane they are exploring creating more shows.

Finale'. Really well done. Landing came in pretty hard, and there were some tough losses, but wow. To a lesser degree, this gave me similar feels to the ending of Serenity. Gut wrenching and a bit hollow inside, but there were many who were able to walk away and survived.
At what point did Maddie get turned, I wonder. Not sure that made much sense. to have her so close to Vi. I mean, she could have been just a periphery character in her world, but seriously, why would she betray not just Vi but her own people? I didn't get it. She got what she deserved, though.
