What was Bandit upset about that he had to throw away?

At first I thought it was about a death, but the way Chili was acting around him on second watch makes me think differently.

Right.
She’s seems happy and her normal self.

They could've made the episode about me after watching LSU get dominated by Bama Saturday night.

I think it’s a few episodes after bandit leaves for a month
I wonder if it has something to do with him discovering something while exploring wherever he was at

For some reason I felt it was work related but can’t tell you why I thought that.

He did try to get a better job after and move the family. Wonder if he got laid off or passed over for promotion.

It's a few episodes before The Sign. I assumed it was about the pending move, possibly a job he had applied to hadn't responded or he was trying to decide if he wanted to move the family.

A lot of speculation about it having to do with his job, and leading into him getting a new position which in turn lead to selling the house (Ghost Basket & The Sign)
According to Bluey's creators they never meant for it to be a specific thing. They just wanted to show how life can distract/upset you even as an adult.

It's not said specifically, but I think you almost have to assume it is work related. Especially with how Chili reacts to it the whole time. A work issue is what makes by far the most sense.
Also, he hums that problem REALLY far into the ocean at the end.

I'm turning this thread into a Bluey lovefest. About once a month, my family of five will find ourselves all watching a few episodes. Those are memories I will cherish, and you can't say that about many, if any, shows. We will all start saying how this is exactly like our family, laughing together, etc. A few that fit:
1. Teasing - The first time we watched, my girls were like "that's like you, daddy". Then, Bandit farts, and that put it over the edge for them comparing me to Banding.
2. The Decider - My wife is an Aggie. So, this episode really hit home. We made sure we watched it before the game a few weeks ago. I was definitely Janelle that night.

Our 3 year old will climb up in our bed and ask to watch Bwuey. Our 9 month old is just starting to notice, but whe will purposely move her head to see around you if it is on.
We've been watching some of the "new" shorts. The one with Muffin and the toy dump truck is just classic Muffin.
As a child of the 80s I love Fairytale.

I'm always down for that.
GOAT kids show, and arguably just one of the GOAT shows overall.

it’s intentionally ambiguous according to the creator/showrunner
the episode is less about what Bandit is worried about and more about him learning to not dwell on it.
Personally for me it’s almost more powerful that it could just be a mood. Idk sometimes I get depressed for no particular reason and it’s things like my kid that snap me out of it.

On more than 1 occasion, my 3 yr old daughter has been running around like crazy throughout the house playing with her older brothers only to stop dead in her tracks, whip around with her hand held up, and say "Oops, Shaun's back!"
It cracks us up every time

I’ll one up you. My wife and I don’t have kids but we’ve ended up being huge Bluey fans. A few years ago we started leaving the TV on cartoons for our dogs while we would be working around the house or in the yard. It keeps them distracted and occupied better than anything else we’ve put on. I guess they like to watch the colors and have the noise.
Back then it was always on Go, Dog, Go. But lately it’s been Bluey. It’s funny cause our older Corgi gets mad when we try to put another cartoon on. It’s gotten to the point where we’ll have Bluey on when we’re sitting and relaxing but really don’t want to watch anything. I love the show. You could very easily take the same script and turn it into a live action show.

BTW, I ran I to a show called Hey Duggee on Peacock
Not the same as Bluey, and probably better for younger kids, but in terms of children programming that is also genuinely hilarious. Strongly recommend it. It’s from the BBC.
