Yeh I agree Walt needs to get his chit together. If he's gonna work for Gus he's gonna have to put his personal life aside and be a Lab-Rat.
And leaving Jesse alone in that Lab was stupid as Hell.

When Walt gets ruthless, it's compelling. When Jesse acts tough, it's annoying.
Walt needs to wear the effin' pants! Why does he still feel the need to lie to Skyler? The best line of the show was when Walt says, "You'll never guess who that was," and Skyler just gives him the "enough" look.
It appears to me that Skyler and Walt are on the mend, but it will be interesting to see if he can learn to take the upper hand in his marriage.

I wonder if the sleeping with Ted thing has played itself out. I'm beginning to think so, but think she'll soon be dragged into legal problems of her own because of Ted's creative accounting.

When Walt was talking about the green lights on the way to the hospital and how much he loved his family, was I the only one who thought Skylar was going to drag him into a janitor's closet for a quickie?

It wouldn't surprise me.

I don't know if I see Skyler getting bank together with Walt, but I guarantee an angry fight frick between the two before the season ends. And if they don't I will be disappointed.

Found this from Season One. Hank just needs to learn how to STFU and roll with the flow.

Hank's wife is a lunatic, she can be down the earth and caring one minute and go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds.
She went ballistic on his chief and partner, and then was about to go after the Hospital's kitchen staff til they calmed her arse down.
but I don't think ole boy will be doing any of that any time soon with them holes in him, but he'll be feelin good with the Morph shots, and Vicodin and such. Might even wanna pay Sean Payton a visit.

I still believe Gus has plans to make Walt an equal partner and begin their own ruthless cartel. Gus is training Walt on being bad-arse and looking legit. Grethen, Elliot and Graymatter better watch-out next season. It's still hard to believe we still have 5 more episodes to get through.

yeah, they will be some serious shite going down in these upcomin episodes now that Gus has set up a war between the Cartel and the DEA. Walt needs to get his head out of his arse and stop letting Jesse and others push him around, like someone said earlier the old Walt needs to surface.

Imagine how great next season could be if:
Walt helps Gus grow his empire. Walt's ego then takes over and he and Gus have a falling out. Walt and Gus wage war against each other.
Walt turns state witness for the DEA and the whole empire crumbles. Walt gets off scot free, only to die of cancer.
Boooo. I know, I don't like that ending either.

Gus has true respect for Walt for reasons we have yet to see. I get the feeling Gus is a family man too, and can relate to Walt in that way. When Walt was lying to him over the phone last week, Gus seemed genuinely sad that Walt was being dishonest.

yep, that's what I been sayin, he lets Walt do things that he wouldn't dare let others do.

But I'm sure he understands why he did this. Walt couldn't tell Gus that his DEA brother-in-law had been shot and was in the hospital. Remember Walt doesn't know that Gus knows about Hank. Walt now knows that Gus knows EVERYTHING, including about his cancer.

I think Gus coming to the hospital was less about threatening Walt and more about letting him know, "It's OK, you can be honest with me."

True Dat.It's an interesting Dynamic.Gus knows his Meth Cook is in Remission after being given a Death Sentence, and his Brother in Law is a DEA Agent. But they Fly under the Radar. And Gus Senses that about Walt.Because Gus also has Family,I think, and has learned how to do it all. He's a BadAss.

I agree totally about Gus's visit, other than it being a distraction for Mike to get No Legs.I liked it when Walt had followed Gus down, and after they talked,Gus told Walt "Now say Thank You and shake my hand."
