Just finished it. Very strong for a Netflix movie. joins the top 10 for sure in that category.
This is where this board will pretend like you don’t have to suspend disbelief for the Die Hard films. Jumping cars into helicopters and all.
I’m prepared for the downvotes now. but solid flick that keeps you locked in and entertained throughout. Certainly better than I expected
ETA: TSA will still get crap from me though whenever they want to start shite.

thought the movie was decent. Be prepared to suspend disbelief several times (see below). Also, I saw one reviewer call it a Die Hard knock off. It is not.
Minor spoiler
examples: a random LA detective can apparently decide whether a plane full of women, children, and VIPs is allowed to take off with a bomb on board. Or, a woman being chased by an assassin through a crowded airport doesn't think to scream or cause a scene, just runs past hundreds of people hoping to reach some random security guard.

Thought the premise and the cast (of all tv actors) was really good. First half was standard action movie plausibility. However, the ending was brutal, basically unwatchable.
Once the detective found out that the fed driver was fake and pulled the gun on him while doing 70 on the interstate, would've been happier turning it off.

My daughter recommended it to me (said it was my kinda movie). I watched it and was entertained, but we've really fallen off if this is now considered a "good movie".

Jason Bateman voice acting as a cold blooded I am in control villain just worked.
Absolutely. I'm not a Bateman fan, and I've pretty much detested most characters he's played, ever since Silver Spoons. Seeing what a pantywaist he is IRL after watching the Smart/Less documentary didn't help matters any.
That said, dude delivered as an ice water-veined "facilitator", especially his voice work. Best part of the movie.
Mrs. Vox described it as "if Phone Booth, Speed & 24 had a baby", and I agree with that assessment.
I thought the GF was a pretty, little thing. IMDB says she does a bunch of Disney stuff in their Descendants series.

Movie was not great, but I was entertained for 2 hours. I don't look for much more than that in today's movies.
Are you really that sensitive to this stuff? Do you turn off your tv or shut down your computer everytime a gay couple is on? Hide in a corner when you see a real life gay couple? I don't like the oversaturation in media/entertainment either, but I'm not going to refuse to watch an entertaining movie because a minor character is gay.

I just want to know if that random happy cheerful TSA agent who randomly got stabbed in the check-in area survived or not

filmed at the new orleans airport old terminal. not great but watchable. the car scene was the worst part of the movie.

You're gonna have to download the latest Soundcloud release from $anto$ to find out.

GF is a smokeshow. Bateman good as always.

I was entertained throughout the whole movie. I'm a pretty big Bateman fan ever since arrested development and like his comedy roles more but the action was good and I really liked the scene with the gun fight in the car.

They show him getting wheeled out on a stretcher telling everybody to download his music.

Solid movie, the wife and I watched this past weekend. Good popcorn flick, Bateman as a cold emotionless villain is good.
The Lindsey Lohan Christmas movie mentioned here is good too.
Neither movie will win any awards but for my 40 something wife and myself, not a bad way to spend an evening

Pace of the movie was perfect.
The movie was entertaining enough, but yeah the pacing was very good.
The movie definitely had some flaws, but for a direct to Netflix release it was better than what you would expect.

Couldn't say it any better. Not every movie has to be fine art haha

Watched it last night. I thought the first half was great. The final act degenerated into complete outlandishness, which I guess was expected, but there were still some interesting twists.
