Pretty sure that was afterlife symbolism. She could've pulled a gun out of her belly.

I’ll chose to side with seeing their liberal agenda they don’t know jack about firearms other than confiscating them would be a good thing in their eyes

I enjoyed it too. I suspect they have at least a couple good seasons considering they get to develop a whole new life for Dexter…and had 10 years to figure out what went wrong.

CGI deer was BAD

My only complaint with the episode. If you can't do any better than that, just leave it out. That was horrible.

I mean, both my wife and I said, “looks like everyone is covered,”

Anyway, I liked the episode and look forward to next week.

In most of Upstate New York, the answer is yes.

I thought that Harrison bleeding through his shirt while Deb was telling Dexter NO was a nice touch.

Gun control debate

The whole point of flagging his purchase of the rifle was so that when Dexter visited his gf at the police station, the other cop could look up his background and reveal the boating accident...which eventually led to...what happened at the end of the first episode

Sure, maybe they could have found a different way to reveal the boating accident info, but you're being far too sensitive about SJW stuff.

Oh is this supposed to be a multi-season thing? Not sure why but I just assumed it was a 10 episode ending redo or something.

Currently it's only supposed to be one season, but that could obviously change if it does well.

Last 10-15 mins kept me so I’ll try to stick with it, but couldn’t help but notice the first half hour featured:

Female police chief
Black people living in Alaska (or wherever they are)
Gay married couple running a gun/hunting supply business
Global warning debate
Gun control debate
Big business evil white oil guy villain

Pretty much covered all the woke bases in 30 mins. Just need some racism and we’ll have them all.

Why does every show/movie have to cow tow to every SJW cause as a matter of course these days? It’

Usually when a show goes full libtard and tries to throw it in your face it annoys me but I wouldn’t put that episode of Dexter in that category.

Female police chief fits in with the story

Black people in Alaska? Who cares.

Gay married couple that owns a gun store? Perfect, goes against the narrative that if you’re gay you’re a rainbow bleeding heart lib

Oil guy being the villain? Well we don’t know that yet and even if it does turn out that way they’re in Alaska I’d assume there’s oil money. Would you rather the villain be Joe Schmo that works at the ice cream shop? It fits the setting and lines up a more compelling story line.

Not really complaining about the female police chief but it made me wonder how many female police chiefs are there...
I found this:

There are, of course, far fewer women chiefs than there are men, but their numbers continue to increase. Since these questionnaires were distributed, the number of women chiefs has increased to about 175, or approximately 1% of the police chiefs in the United States.

She just replaced his father as his passenger. Did you even watch the first series?
