I they do the "Deb in love with Dexter" thing they're alluding to, they'll have REALLY jumped the shark.
I can't imagine that they would. Not only from a ridiculousness standpoint, but from an acting standpoint - the two were married and eventually divorced. It would suck to force them into some kind of intimate moment.

The reason he's acting this way is because he's obsessed with killing Travis before the police get him. He's just doesn't care right now about the police. He just wants to kill Travis.
I bet this is the season Deb finds out that Dexter is a killer.

I'm pretty sure the writers have said that now that Dexter has been renewed for 2 more seasons, they have a rough idea on when the show is ending. Hopefully they can get some cohesive writing together since they have an idea on when the series is ending now (like LOST did).
As for Dexter and Deb falling in love, that's some awkward stuff especially since they're divorced now.

I'm also very interested in the intern for the same reasons. He did seem very disappointed when Dexter rejected his idea for the game. Dexter appears to be his hero if it upset him so much he cancelled his date.
Additionally, I wonder if they're gonna explain why the "whore" heard two voices since it appears Travis talks to air and does not impersonate Gellar.

He lives in a lavish apartment with no realistic explanation for his resources (unpaid internship, "people like video games LOL" bullshite).
It was already stated that he made a bunch of money from creating video games, and that is why he is an unpaid intern.

So we have 2 eps left this year right? What big shite do yall think is left this year? Will we get some sort of "closure" at the end (ala season 5) or end on a cliffhanger? If Deb and Dexter kiss I'm gonna be furious.
Also what are some ideas for the main story arc of next season that you'd want to see?

I reallllly want to see how this particular plot point turns out since basically all of us have been convinced, from one episode, that Deb's ready to take the bone from Dexter.
I'm very curious what the writers actual intentions were with her behavior last weekend.

I don't worry about stuff that Will Never Happen. It's so far off my radar, I don't even get why people are talking about it. If they showed those two actually boning, I'd assume Deb was choking and Dexter was doing the Heimlich on her.

first of all, how the frick did he think it was a good idea to ask dexter about a game about serial killers after his wife was murdered by one
there's no way he didnt know that dex's wife was a victim, so why the frick would her widowed husband think impersonating a serial killer would be fun and exciting

I think intern is a serial killer himself and sees it in Dexter. Notice how good he is at everything just like Dexter.
