You'd think high-tier actors/writers would prefer making sitcoms on a platform like Netflix where you have more creative freedom.

We all will when we have to stream Homecoming and Far From Home on that shitty Sony-Crackle platform.

I'll be jumping on board. The Simpsons and having a young kid are enough for me to join. shite, that $13 bundle for D+, ESPN+, and Hulu sounds great.

If Disney could do Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu and somehow access to all of ESPN for like $30/month, they may put a huge dent in cable subscribers.

I don't get why no Amazon platform? I hope that gets ironed out. Why lose potential customers that use this platform, and from what I read is the largest one in the world with Roku being 2ed. I won't be switching devices just to get this one service.

I don't know why they aren't doing this, even at the very least an add-on for all ESPN channels and/or ABC.

The question is will they produce dark and gritty shows like Netflix currently does, or will they keep it in the PG to PG 13 range? If I get rid of my Netlfix to only watch PG shows then I'm not making a good choice in terms of entertainment options.

Is this service going to be like Netflix? Or Hulu?

Netflix, in terms of new content, I'd say.
Plus the catalog of Disney, SW, Marvel & Fox movies.

Netflix is going to have to produce excellent content and be very strategic with the timing of their releases....
If they could release one show and one movie a month that people cant live without, they’d be fine.
Sincerely,
Captain Obvious

Given their current direction, Susan Rice on the board, shoveling money to the Obamas & AOC for retarded biographical/documentary content, I do not believe this will end well for them.

Netflix needs to buy up IP.
Disney has the Disney classic characters, Star Wars, Marvel, etc.
Netflix needs to buy up rights for tons of books, comics, whatever they can get their hands on.
Just like Amazon is doing now with Wheel of Time, LOTR, and The Boys. Everyone wants to see their favorites books/characters come alive on TV.
It looks like maybe they have started that with the Witcher show coming out soon.

it's a shame that Warner Brothers owns DC Comics. those properties would look mighty fine under Netflix's leadership.

Hell, I say bump it up a bit and give me some of the Live TV (locals) and I'd still pay for that (At least through football season)
