try to avoid rewatching Kevin Smith's movies.
This is short-sighted. All the classic (I AM EXCLUDING JERSEY GIRL AND CLERKS II) Askewniverse movies are highly rewatchable (ETA, well maybe not JASBSB).
Clerks is a fantastic film. Mallrats is enjoyable upon repeat viewings and Chasing Amy is almost a Rom Com masterpiece - one of the few a straight dude can really enjoy.
Dogma is also a masterpiece for different reasons. Certainly the best "stand alone" Smith film, it is arguably his best work. It should be the one Silent Bob is remembered for.
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back isn't as rewatchable because it is too self-referential to the others - if you're not a hardcore fan, I don't see how you even "get" the film, much less enjoy it.
The rest are all A-grade films (maybe Mallrats is B+).
