Their kids go to ocs. Jase was watching his son play. I would assume the rest of the clan was there too.

Jase is the funniest of the group.
Everything he says is deadpanned.

I watched a couple of episodes a while back and thought it was funny but was turned off by the scriptedness of it. Then I saw an interview where Willie called it "guided reality", so I watch it now and enjoy it since they admit it is staged. With that said, I've watched their hunting videos for years and their personalities are genuine.

It was on the episode where they took her boyfriend hunting

They film every couple of months for a few weeks at a time or something. They literally do no work, just film all the episodes around town. any time they film them in the warehouse, they've already done their quotas and everything. Some of the stories they come up with, other ones the producers get them to do. They film a couple of takes to get funnier lines. They are fed lines too.
eta: I've been there while they film.
Also, this group of people are probably the most down to earth "reality stars." They're wonderful people. They do so much charity work around town, do visits at area schools, public appearances at a variety of places. I've met most of them. Sadie and Bo are still semi-dating. Bo lives in River Oaks here in Funroe. They were trick-r-treating and my nephew was dressed as Willie and went nuts when Sadie walked up to get candy. She was incredibly sweet, took pictures, etc. Si is really, really funny in real life. So off the wall. They definitely turn the "redneck" off and on for show. The Robinson's went to/go to OCS here in town. Also, Willie and his wife adopted two other kids that they never show on tv. The big house they show on the outside is NOT the Robinsons. It's the Haykims: a big developer/housing guy in town.

Si>Jase but damn it's close
I really enjoy the show, blatant scripted scenes and all. It's one of 2 reality shows that I watch.
