True. One of the funniest things I've seen is when they had the question "what are some other names that you would call your mother". So the idiot contestant kept saying the same thing that was already answered but pronouncing it a different way or using different emphases. Some of the answers already on the board were "mommy" and "momma". This brilliant woman answered with the following: "mom...uhhh", "mom-meeeee", etc. Apparently they had to cut a lot of her response because it took her forever to grasp the concept and they kept giving her chance after chance to name an original answer.

I watch it occasionally when nothing much is on and I'm flipping channels. I've come across the pork u pine show a few times, interestingly. It must replay a lot. That was some funny stuff. Poke lawn by the same family was pretty funny, too.

The only time I ever genuinely laughed at Steve Harvey’s schtick was the “Another Word for Mother” question. That was 8 minutes of pure funny. And the woman was so stone cold serious as she gave the same answer 5 times.
The end was the best part - just give them the x

The host's reaction has to be the proxy for the viewers, that's why he plays up dumb answers just like someone watching at home is turning to whoever they're watching with and talking about that answer being dumb.
