I hated Michael and Walt

Kate always bothered me, for many reasons
There's a character I don't think you've gotten to yet that I hated almost more than any fictional character ever

I didn't hate Michael as much as most
I hated Charlie my 2nd time through though. All he did was bitch about Claire. Total Beta

Yeah Charlie sucked the 2nd time.. Probably because I binge watched and he was too much if it wasn't 1 night a week watching

I will say, the biggest turnarounds in terms of not liking to absolute fan for me, was Jin and Ben.
I actually think Jin was the moral rock of the entire castaways.

Yeah Jin got a lot better
I always liked Ben though. He stole every scene he was in from his first episode.

Jin telling a scary story is still one of the funniest things ever

Yup. Ben was perfectly written and acted from day one.
Michael was horrible from day one.
Anna Lucia and her permanent angry smirk style of acting almost eclipsed Michael and his non stop WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAlT!

I'd say one of my favorite episodes to this day was Jin's first centric episode. He and his father reuniting was just fantastic, and really wish Jin could have gotten away from his father-in-law's influence before the crash.

Yeah, this scene is what cemented him as the villain. Really the first time he shows his true colors: LINK

+1.
Sun was actually kind of a bitch IMV. I get her saving Jin's 'dignity', but she forced him to work for her father and got pissed at him for it.
The actor for Jin was fantastic.

The guy couldn't speak Korean either, which makes it that much more impressive. I'd say Daniel Dae Kim is by a long shot the most underrated actor in the series, and I'd put him third next to Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson as the best in the series. The guy is just great, and hope to see him in more big projects in the future.

Did not know that. I knew it was a running joke that he spoke excellent English.

I would add Hume and Sawyer (whatever the real names are) as acting stars in the show.
Probably why those 5 are my favorites in the show.

Byron, got a question for you: What do you think the Monster is?

I don't even know where to begin. There's cranking sounds on top of a bunch of other sounds none of it makes sense.

This thread is such gold. It has me going back an watches episodes when I haven't in a few years, so i get to relive some of the best tv ever, then I also get to read this thread and relive what the internet was like each week.
And no one likes Michael. To this day. I don't even think Harold Perrineau likes Michael. Sometimes I wonder if he was sitting around on the set and like thinking, hey, can I say something other than "WAAAAAALLLLLLTTTT!!!!!" and they were just like, No, STFU and do what we tell you to

You are getting into murky waters moving forward.
I love the last two seasons. Two of the best episodes IMO are still to come.
Can't wait to see what you think.
