Tonight is episode 3, right?
Posted on 3/6/22 at 4:25 pm to CBandits82
Seriously? I thought I saw E4 was the 13th.
Hell yes. I have a game tonight but plan on watching when I get home.

Episode 5
Motherfricker…my DVR recorded episode 3 tonight.
ETA: but E5 was on demand apparently. Not sure why demand is several episodes ahead. But I’ll take it. Watching now..

so, after episode 3 you have to subscribe to Epix to watch?

No idea. I have Epix though, so maybe that's why I'm able to watch them on demand.
??
Decent episode (E5). But I will withhold my comments until more people have seen it. Part of me wants to stop watching for a couple weeks to let the live airings catch up to where I am, but once I know there is a new one available on demand, I can't stop myself from watching it.

eh.. maybe i'll just wait for all episodes to be out and then sign up for the 7 day trial.

Is anybody still keeping up with this?
I watched E6 last night. It was solid, but it feels like they need to start cornering in on some things before the season ends and nothing really happens.
I'm still saving my thoughts on E5&6 for those who haven't seen them yet.

The show has about ground to a halt. Slowly starting to lose me. Hope it picks up.

How many episodes have you seen so far?
Posted on 3/14/22 at 11:12 am to CocomoLSU

I’m about to watch episode 6 tonight, so not reading your post yet. I like this show a lot though, subscribed to Epix just for it

I haven't posted about E5 or E6 yet since I know I am ahead of people who aren't watching on demand.
But once you/y'all watch E6 post about it in here and we can start discussing. I am liking this show a lot.

The show slows down in episodes 4 and 5 as they move away from focusing on the monster threat. Episode 6 picks back up a bit because the new residents are starting to dig into the mystery, and this show pops when they are uncovering the mystery or when they are dealing with immediate monster threat. When they focus on relationships in the town it goes flat.
I definitely want to know what is going on. And I agree that there isn't another show right now that captures the imagination quite like this one.

I'm current. I haven't seen a monster in I don't know how long.

From the ending of episode 6 I bet we see some monsters next week.
It’s almost like Lost, but with more horror and mature content.

I thought episode 6 was on par with the early episodes. The priest is becoming the most intriguing character.

Spoiler through E6..
As soon as they showed the intro "what happened last time" scenes for E6, I knew Sara was still alive and that the priest knew where she was. I'm interested to see what his plan is and how it works with the whole "we need proof so we can show Sheriff Boyd that you actually can communicate with the dead."
The flashbacks Jade had at the tree with the Civil war soldier caught me off guard. I wonder what that will mean, like if this place has existed and been going on since those days?
I also like the whole "write questions on the walls to figure out WTF is going on" thing. And I loved that the wife wrote "Did we survive the crash?" since I am sure that's what a lot of people are theorizing. It felt like the creators of the show wanted to address that before it got going and squash it. And I assume that they did that this past episode when he straight up said "You were alive before the tree/crash" or whatever. I guess it's just nice to get that one out of the way.
I wonder if Sara is the only one that can see the messages on her skin, or if she could potentially show that to the priest as well.
The antenna in the tree...I am ignorant with shite like that. Is static a good thing? I was under the impression that static is sort of always there with those kinds of ham type radios, but Jim seemed to think it was a good sign. Anybody know anything about that kinda stuff?
I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting. But yeah I am interested in seeing the dead again, and how Boyd's plan goes with venturing out into the forest at night.

And digging up the bag with liquor in it. My bet is that he isn’t actually a priest and saw this situation as an opportunity to change his life. It’s the Locke character arch from LOST.
