That sucks they are going on haitus but that is great they will come on after american idol. That will give them a ton of publicity. Last year, we had some show called "sisters" or something that would come on after AI and I was thinking, "Why couldn't they put a better show on afterwards?"

Yea it sucks that they are going off but I can't wait to see the new episodes now that glee is so popular. Read an interview in rolling stone with the shows creator saying a lot of musicians have been calling trying to get their songs in the show. He said there will be an all Madonna episode too.

Just wondering, how will the show proceed over the years. Will they keep the same cast even as they look like the have graduated from college or will the kids change over the years?
Will it be like the Simpsons with time frozen in place? Will we be hearing about the sectionals for the next 11 years with the show ending with them finally showing the sectionals?

My guess would be several new characters per season replacing graduated characters. Rachel is only a sophmore, so the star has time, and the teachers aren't going anywhere. If it lasts that long I don't expect it to survive Rachel leaving the show for long.

They could get around Rachel graduating by having her come back as a teacher. They could do a fast forward.
They will probably just do a Simpsons and keep them stuck in time until they are finally too damn old looking to keep them any longer.
I of course don't watch this show as no self respecting male would. Yeah, that's the ticket.

That's a good question I haven't thought about. I would think some of the actors would move on at some time. All of them are in their 20s so eventually they will start looking too old.

Joss Whedon is going to direct one of the episodes for the spring season, which is just ridiculously appropriate. As for those that say you can watch this and be male, have some confidence in your own masculinity.
