Sopranos ending was the penultimate "WTF just happened?" moment for me. However, Usual Suspects, Raiders of the Lost Ark were pretty damn awesome.

anyone remember a movie by the title: The Final Countdown about the USS Nimitz time warping back to the week before 12/7/1941? The ending of that movie was truly a WTF moment.

It's a lot harder to think of comedies with really great endings.

What's in the box is epic. No one , I mean no one, saw it coming.

False. It was a very good ending though.

Fight Club was great, but having read Thr3e before seeing that movie, I figured that one out too.

I love the end to the departed as well.

The Departed had a great ending when the camera zoomed onto the rat.

Unbreakable. What a sad, twisted, yet in a weird way.....happy ending.

"I'm not a mistake"

The kids knew.

Another great one is "The Fly" (1986). The combination of horror and tragedy culminating in a devastating act of mercy really made an impact.

I'll go with Last of the Mohicans, mainly because I'm not sure I've ever been so amped up watching the climax of a movie before. That was a fun experience seeing that for the first time.

The score for that movie is quite possibly the greatest soundtrack of all time. I listen to it when i run.

That was great, and the whole movie I was thinking that the Last of the Mohicans was DDL, then his dad has that speech at the end how he's the last one and I'm like oh shite!

Up there with other Great QT endings

The look on Max's face says it all....

A question we always ask ourselves...Do we stay living the day to day life (safe) ....or do we run off with girl and face the unknown?

Some great ones mentioned already!

Saving Private Ryan's ending was very powerful.

Gone Baby Gone's is one of the most thought provoking ever.

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. I've been in more debates about this ending than any I can remember. Also the score really comes through in this scene.
