Just saw it at a screening. Meh. But, an expected meh. It's a sequel to an idea that can't really be "topped" in terms of originality.

It's literally exactly the same as Part I. The funniest laughs come at the end with the slideshow. Also, Ken Jeong is by far the funniest thing in this entire movie. If you didn't enjoy him in Part I you're going to hate Part II.

I didn't expect much, laughed at parts and was mildly entertained. It didn't exceed my fairly below average expectations. That about sums up my review.

I thought it was pretty funny. I am fairly easy to please as I have a broad sense of humor. Its pretty much the same movie. A couple parts had me freaking out, out of laughing and shock value. Those who saw it know what I am talking about.

My observation is that if this movie came before the first, then I think this would be viewed as the funnier movie. The first one was funnier because everything was so new. You know what to expect with this one, but some parts will still get you. I enjoyed it for the most part.

That sounds good to me, I'll check it out this weekend. I knew there was no way this movie wouldn't be funny.

Really don't know why this movie is getting such shitty reviews. If the first movie was an 8/10, this was probably a 6.5/10.

If you liked The Hangover, you'll like part II. About as simple as that.

ETA: Ken Jeong was actually tolerable in this movie. Not hilarious, but tolerable. This is coming from someone who thinks he has been awful in nearly every movie he has been in.

It was pretty funny. My complaint is that it was way too similar to the 1st but I expected it to be that way anyway. Still had a good bit of funny and surprising moments.

just got back...such a letdown. Phillips didn't do anything to make it better than the first IMO. It was as good as the first, but it really didn't feel like a sequel. I thought part 1 was average. it really felt like i was watching the same exact story set in another country.

BTW...traffic getting out of Rave was an absolute bitch.

i saw it too, i thought it was a little funnier than the first

the plot is almost identical, just a few different characters. The whole point is to laugh, i wasn't really looking for a deep plot. And I laughed a good bit.

but i thought they focused on Alan more, which they should have done. He is easily the best character in both films. Didnt get enough face time in part 1.

some pretty funny shock value as well.

the chinese guy was more bearable in this movie. He was dialed down a notch from part 1.

definitely worth a see

and if tonights crowd is indicative of how much money this movie will make, it will make a fortune.

Funny movie. Definitely worth seeing. It's not going to win an Oscar like most are predicting on here but if you liked the first one, you're going to laugh which is the whole point.

Awesome

I thought the first one was just OK but thought they should have put more focus on Alan. Looking forward to this one.
