THEN try this on for size... why don't you launch a company-wide initiative to identify and train more Hooters girls with management potential, give Marcee a raise and have her play an instrumental role in the effort? That way you advance a good employee, give her better pay and better hours... which means more time with family... and then create more good employees as a result. Seemed kind of obvious to me.
I said the same thing to my wife. I swear...I see morons like the guy last night and wonder....how hard is it to be the CEO of some companies? Of course all the top notch places need really smart, intelligent folks to run them. But a place like Hooters? I could do that.
I'd bet a shite ton of money that loser manager was picked on in high school and never got kissed.

quote:Private company. Actually two private companies - Hooters, Inc. is the original, based out of Florida, and started by the 6 guys who started the original location. They have control over the Tampa area, Chicago area and NYC locations. Hooters of America, based in Atlanta, was formed by the first major group of franchisees and they now control (either directly as owners or as the franchise granters) all of the other locations in the US and internationally.
Is hooters a private corp or public? If I were the board of directors, I'd fire his arse after watching this Undercover boss show.
Robert Brooks was one of the founders of Hooters of America. He bought majority control of the group in 2002, and then passed the reins to his son Coby (guy who was on Undercover Boss) in 2003.

I don't believe him, though
Same here, 99.9% of dads out there would have a problem with their daughter's working there. That said, I'm glad the other .1% are out there.

I noticed the Marci chick took the vacation, then took a less stressfull job later.
I'm thinking the divorced CEO is now plowing that.

I think Marci was married.
They are in a lose lose deal when it comes down to firing Jimbo. Since he workd for a franchise restaurant they cant fire him. I wonder what kind of policies they have in reguards to that behavior. Would sexual harassment cover that? The fact that Coby let that behavior continue because he didn't want to break cover was crap. I bet he was scared of Jimbo. I would have told the girls to stop, pulled out my phone called the franchise owner there on the spot in front of everyone and threaten to yank therir franchise rights unless the franchise owner came down there. I would then show him the tape and ask him how he is going to handle this situation with his employee. Coby needs some balls.

pssst...Reality show like that dumbass show are FAKE.
I work for the franchise in Louisiana and I have to agree. The most glaring thing I noticed was that during the games the store was completely empty. I see the sales that those stores do in that market and just can't believe that any store in the Dallas market would be completely empty. I was on the phone with somebody from HOA today and they thought it was stupid. If anyone wants to be an arse we'll probably have him at our Houma opening.

and by the way, when we had him at our Denham Springs opening he obviously had picked up an HG from Atlanta to keep him company.

The whole premise of this show seems retarded. Even if these people somehow don't recognize the CEO won't they be on their best behavior anyway with the presence of cameras?
