Second for Woman in Black. Genuinely creepy. More along the lines of The Others and The Devil's Backbone.
Bingo.
The Others was terrifying, or maybe I was just in the right mood. Late at night. Completely Dark house. Alone. Spooky as hell.

BTW, My brother bought that poster in your sig pic at the Marvel Mondo show. On his wall now.

I tried. I was too damn late. It's a sweet poster and I might have to just print my own. I made a collage out of all the prints like that.
I do have the Mondo First Avenger poster, which is equally awesome.

I'm in Austin, so I can get what I want at the shows, but trying to get one when they drop online is pretty tough, though I can usually pull it off if I really want one.

House of A thousand corpses, devils rejects come to mind. The later probably had the best soundtrack ever imo

I watched Oculus last night, and it's good, would recommend.

I'm gonna go with a Gothic horror classic that has a dash of 60s psychedelia. It also happens to be one of my Top 15 favorite films:

Modern horrors have seen a small resurgence with Oculus, and previously, Sinister, Insidious, and The Conjuring.
I'm glad people are back to a mix of classic horror tropes and modern film techniques. It's a really good blend, see The Conjuring and Insidious for the best examples.

Oddly enough, I was sold on the conjuring for its use of the Zombie's Time of the Season during one of its trailers. Made me realize what a creepy arse song that is

Did anyone see As Above, So Below?
The preview I saw of it looked pretty good.

And if you want to get artsy and classic, The Black Cat, Cat People, and Night of the Demon are some quality choices.

The Conjuring was such a beautifully shot horror movie. It just looked gorgeous and it was even legitimately scary.
Sinister had the best atmosphere of any horror film of recent memory that I have seen. My biggest gripe was that the trailers showed too much and ruined some otherwise brilliantly creepy moments such as the family that was dragged into the pool.

Sinister and The Conjuring are my two favorite modern horror films.
It's Alive fricked me up as a child
Event Horizon is legit.
The Ring
Salems Lot
Trick R Treat ( just a fun movie great to watch on Halloween night)
Exorcist 3 may have the scariest scene I've ever seen.
Creepshow
Poltergeist
