What about pepper pots? I forget what happened with her turning into a flaming ball. Can she still do that?

As long as it comes across as a natural part of the story and not wedged in as some SJW bullshite, then I have no problem with it. Brie's recent comments had me worried Captain Marvel would be Estro-Fest 2019, but I was pleasantly wrong. If they aren't going to force it like that in her movie, they most likely won't do it in Endgame.

Someone will sacrifice themselves and it won’t be a real final blow. It will be some event that causes both Thanos and that person to die.

She’s one of the few that can face him one on one, but I don’t think they’ll let a character so new have that privilege. I think Dr. Strange saved Tony because he is the one who delivers the final blow.

Wouldn't love it, but it's also a 3-hour movie I haven't seen yet, so who knows what will develop.
Thruthfully though, I still believe Tony Stark has to be the one to do it.
He started this arc, he finishes it. Also, he was the first one to appear in the trailer. Infinity War built up Stark and Thanks as these yin/yang rivals, so it would be a little weird for it to not come down to the two of them.

It would pretty much invalidate the 10-year build up of characters to have a 1 movie character come in and save the day.

It would literally crush me. I would probably break out in hives and never ever be able to leave my house again. I'd basically give up on life and become a hermit, doing nothing but writing letters to Disney asking them why they did this to me... to US. I'm sort of hoping Black Panther and Captain Marvel team up to take down Thanos.
That would be the perfect storm for this board, IMO. I'm not saying it would be good for the movie, but it would produce some quality threads.

Monica Rambeau shows up to give Captain America his shield. He throws it over his shoulder and goes inside to drink some blue milk. Rambeau convinces Steve to teach her how to MMA. She fights Thanos and one-punches him, retrieving the Gauntlet in the process. She then snaps all white males of all species out of existence.
