the problem with doing the next one is that whoever the villian the actor is going to have to be absolutley incredible, or it wont live up to TDK.

David Tennant would be a badass ridler, Ive just gotten to know him from dr who. Not sure who would be a good catwoman though. Bane would be a great character if done right. In the shitfest known as batman and robin he was dumbed down and thats not what bane really is. In the comics he's pretty much a genius on par with Batman, if done right i think they could do it, there's so many possibilities and I just hate that we're going to have to wait for awhile

I'd be interested to see how the Riddler fits into Nolans' vision. He always seemed pretty cheesy to me.

I'm of the opinion that the Riddler could be done well with the right script.
Sadly, nothing will top the Joker. He is Batman's antithesis. Nothing will compare to him, especially after Ledger's treatment of him. The Riddler or the Penguin would be the most likely candidates for a third movie. Azreal or Bane could be interesting if done correctly, but who knows where Nolan will go with it...

In Nolan's Batman universe there are no silly outfits for the villains. Catwoman just doesn't seem to fit in here. Scarecrow had just a mask if you want to call it that. Joker didn't really wear an "outfit" really just makeup and the suits. If he does the riddler i see just green suits and a cane.

Catwoman's costume is a leather bodysuit. How is that silly? Plus she isn't all that much of a villain, just a burglar who messes with Batman's emotions. Face it, after Lucius Fox said his new suit wouldn't protect much against a dog, but would against a cat, that means Selena Kyle is in the next movie.
