Some friends of mine, not me, thought the Bear Jew should have been played by Will Ferrell. It could have been his first attempt at a more serious role than his previous movies, but it would have also been a very comedic scene with him coming out of the tunnel ready to beat some nazis. What do you guys think?

this fricking movie is boring as hell, if u wanna see it bc of the action and comedey in the previews u will be severly let down

It was actually suppose to be played by Adam Sandler but he had to back out. You can read about that on it's IMDB page.

You obviously haven't seen Winter Passing where Ferrell plays a homosexual struggling musician. Depressing movie but he nails it.

Holy hell... funny shite, if someone does not agree with majority on this movie they are considered dumb, or like mindless movies. I can understand bashing the one dude who came out and attempted to flame but some people just did not care for the movie...

This is valid criticism, but saying "it didn't have enough explosions" is just saying "I enjoy Michael Bay films", making their criticism irrelevant.

You can't really classify Basterds as a WW2 movie. I really liked it though, but it's not cool to like things other people like so it sucked.
