I love that tag line: "Mankind was born on Earth. It wasn't meant to die here."
Maybe my favorite tag line ever.

the preview showed nothing. just a melodramatic trailer that presents a cliched storyline
now the first trailer likely isn't indicative of the movie, but judging just the trailer alone, there should be little/no excitement

In a film industry that is saturated with remakes, reboots, sequels, prequels, and other various films based on literature already well known to most individuals, to see a novel science fiction film feature Lorentzian wormholes and interstellar travel is undeniably exciting.

Right? How dare people watch that trailer and think that movie looks fricking awesome.
The nerve.
The nerve.

That trailer has a lot of "Contact" in it. It looks like a philosophical themed film about the extent the human race can push itself. I could see it just ending when the reach interstellar with no real conclusion. I wouldn't mind it because I personally loved "Contact" but a lot of people hated it.

i don't know what about that trailer would make anybody cum in their pants,
1. Nolan
2. MM
3. space
the idea of a story about mankind's need to search for a suitable "next home", albeit completely fictional, is interesting to me

what we were shown in the trailers wasn't exactly a new storyline

i don't think the trailer has much to do with your excitement, and the concept is what has you excited

nope
i'm just not afraid to be honest. my feels are my feels. movies/tv is one of those things where people often convince themselves they will like a project, and they will continue along with that emotional thinking at first viewing
the best example of people claiming i was trolling and then me being proven 100% right was the dark knight. the group think and expectations for that movie were so high, any criticism of the movie during the theater run was called trolling. years later looking back, the flaws are accepted 100%
people are (rightfully) excited about the movie. we already knew basically what the basic storyline was, and the trailer added nothing. but due to the excitement for the movie itself, people are cumming down their pantlegs just b/c there was a reinforcing stimuli of their expectations
i'm not trolling. i'm being honest

If it's Nolan, chances are we aren't gonna get any details. This might be the last trailer we get
Posted on 5/17/14 at 11:57 am to WicKed WayZ
now THAT would be trolling
