I have a feeling Nolan will find someone to botch the ending

I think the end to the movie is pretty obvious what it will be, and if he finds a way to blotch a final scene that I'm expecting, then it would be an accomplishment. The only 2 requirements for the scene I think they'll go with are good actors and a good score, both of which they have.

you complain about all of the trailers, yet you watch them. you aren't forced to watch the trailers, so if you do and you see something spoilerish, then you really have no one to blame but yourself.

And what are you expecting the final scene to be? I expect it to be the death of Earth with them "stuck" in space.

The father and the daughter reuniting on Earth, with her now being at least his age or older. It's what every trailer has capitalized on that MM is leaving his daughter behind to save her and vows to come back. That really has to be the final scene.

Im thinking the ending scene goes like this. They see the huge beautiful mountains on the alien planet and call in for the rest of Earth to meet them there. A few minutes later they realizes its actually huge waves and they are killed.

So, any theories as to why we have to migrate from earth?

Have we depleted all the minerals?

I'm hoping they go with nuclear winter.

No wonder you got so mad at me the other day. It's not that I "spoiled" something, it was because you already have this vision of what the end will be and you didn't want to be wrong.

And if it's not? Stop trying to guess everything. You don't watch the trailer, but you sure as hell are trying to predict everything that happens

I really was hoping the Entergy IMAX at the Aquarium in Nola would be showing Interstellar on its 70mm IMAX screen but so far it's not showing in today's list of theaters for 70mm.

I just emailed them to see if they have any plans to do so. I will definitely be checking it out there if they do as well as about 20 of my friends.
