I mean. . .were you intending to be ironic? You vag out in every single one of these threads. . .while I am my usual moderated, reasonable voice.
My only side is "me"
I vote for whomever I want to hold the office I am voting for. . .I don't do lesser of 2 evils, or not voting X is essentially voting for Y.
I leave that to the smooth brains

Do I?
Arnold told me "frick my freedoms"
Why shouldn't I hold that against him?

I’m not trying to really tell you to eff off, just trying to play around.
That being said, he was wayyyy off on that one; they all make a misstep every now and then - I remeber trump making more than a few.
Anyhow, Hollywood in general needs to stop lecturing and just entertain, take care brotha.

Correct. But legally still a US citizen.
So saying he is a legal US citizen still holds up.
Yep. He would not legally be considered an immigrant.

I guess a story where Lex Luthor becomes president and tries to have Superman deported could be interesting. Wouldn't be very believable, but sure. Live your truth.

Wtf are you talking abt? I said a guest on Earth. Lex has often tried to make Superman leave Earth. I doubt Lex deporting Superman to another country would mean anything. Hell, the guy lives in Antarctica.

Yeah but we still all know he actually is.
Just like OJ Simpson isnt legally a murderer but he is still a murderer.

Well sure, I know he came from another planet. Still a US citizen, and there is no scenario where such an individual would exist and he wouldn't be. It is completely disingenuous to pretend or imply the Superman origin story is similar or analogous to anything happening in the USA today.

Of course. But didnt stop the poli boarder from making the thread anyway.

But, you're doing exactly that. You disagree with Gunn, sure, but you're debating his argument with real world tenants. You're both wrong. Superman isn't human.

James Gunn and Sean Gunn made the implication, not the OP.
Glad to see you agree with the premise of the OP.

No, I'm disproving his argument because it doesn't make sense. Superman would never be considered an immigrant and implying he would be is disingenuous.

Legally he isn't an immigrant
Technically he is, using the broad definition provided.
In the same way that if you drop a baby off at the firehouse the baby is technically trespassing if using a very broad definition. Legally, it is not.

Yep. It's nonsensical to refer to Superman as an immigrant.

Did James Gunn post it on the movie/tv board?
Just because an actor/director says something political doesnt mean it doesnt belong on the political board.
We could make an entire front page of actors/writers/directors talking about immigration/politics.

and 97% would be crazy liberals. They are in the movie/tv industry not politics.
