Phyllis was a bitch. Karen: who's Bob Vance? Phyllis: you've got a lot to learn about this town honey **glares and walks off**

She was in a bitch in a couple of scenes, but her character overall was sweet.

The Office also has some great compilations of bloopers from the show on youtube.

Another show with great bloopers is Always Sunny.

1.) Why does everyone hate on Season 1? Its only six episodes, but its great. Really sets up the premise of the show up well.
I'm not aware of any widespread "hate" for S1. However, if you watched it in real time and had been a fan of the original The Office, it came off as almost a literal copy of it. As I've said before, one of the great triumphs of the show was awesomely they created their own voice after that beginning. I remember thinking...Jim? JIM? No WAY can I ever see anyone in this role except for TIM.

2.) Andy's character arc was weird. They sort of screwed up his relationship with Erin from the very beginning. That was one of the things that really sucked with seasons 8 and 9. They just kept on saying 'no' to each other for no reason when one would ask out the other. I felt he really could have taken over the show as the main character too, but its like the writing fell off after Michael Scott had left. Early season Andy is the best
Yeah. Too one-dimensional by the end.

4.) Angela had to be one of the worst characters ever. BUT, Im glad they redeemed her in the end.
Worst how? The character was a bitch...but she was great.

Michael is still fantastic in season 1, but maybe it gets hate because some of the side characters that become great later are not written into their roles yet.

For example, Kelly is portrayed as a very Indian, shy girl in season one and Angela is actually nice to Phyllis in the first party planning meeting.

Andy ruins the show. They could have done the entire series without him and it would have been better.

Early season Andy was great. Everyone has worked with someone like early season Andy.

But they did ruin his character.

Jim and Pam were both fricking losers with delusions of grandeur that took out their insecurities on those around them.

Is that you, Dwight?

It's funny how many "normal" characters on the show were driven off the deep end. Ryan, at one point, was maybe the most normal character on the show until he went off the rails.

Jenna Fischer has absolute world class tits, a great body, and a gorgeous smile and as Pam absolutely ruins 3 different men's lives because they are so wrapped around her and she is such a void of apathy an selfishness. She the kind of woman you could lay in bed with everyday blind to the world until you wake up and realize you've wasted your life and your unhappy and it's too late to do anything about it. I would absolutely surrender myself to her. She basically a great adaptation of a Roman mythological siren.

A woman like her had ruined many a great man.

Jim is the prototypical underachieving jackass.

Michael is the perfect definition of the Peter principle in action.

Dwight is my favorite sitcom character of all time.

5.) Jim and Pam's character arcs/relationship really starts to tank after they get married.
