What are the odds that BBT’s son hire the guys that kicked his arse to run the wells on that lease he just signed? Olive branch?
They're back in prison, so I doubt this happens.

I met BBT back in October in Kentucky. He and his band were performing across the street and came to our hotel bar after. Small group, and just a few of us. We all hung out drinking some beers until about 2am. Really cool guy to be honest. Did not have a celebrity feel to him at all. I wish I knew about Landman before I met him. But then again he said he preferred his music over acting. Acting paid the bills but his music is what he loves.

You can thank Harvey Weinstein for depriving everyone of Billy Bob's true talent, which is writing and directing.
After his experience working with Miramax on All The Pretty Horses and Weinstein basically gutting and quartering what everyone said was a masterpiece, then Billy Bob pretty much lost all interest in dealing with studios and executives at that level ever again and then started doing more and more commercial acting gigs for the money.
Robert Duvall once called Thornton the "Hillbilly Orson Welles" he thought so much of his writing and directing skills, while also being a great actor.
Hollywood chewed up BBT's best talents and forced him to essentially mail it in (by this standards) for the rest of his career and go play music when he wasnt on set.
What a shame.

They’ll have a lot of loose ends to tie up in this final episode. Is TS up to the challenge?

hell yeah, he's definitely up to the challenge of throwing in a few more loose ends that he'll never tie up in the finale.

Loose ends? There is a second season coming.

It’s a vehicle perfectly suited to BBT’s special talents. He’s no Landman though. More like the Patch’s Mr. Wolfe.

Recognized the Harley pipes right off.

Well that was an interesting episode….no spoilers for those that haven’t watched yet.

I thought it was a solid episode. Without giving up anything I'm getting a strong vibe that Tommy's son is going to be a huge factor with the direction he's going.

I just noticed BBT's pinky finger regenerated.

You are spot on. Will be interesting if dad and son end up together or at odds as this progresses.

Stuck through it all, but it's not enough to keep me interested for a 2nd season. The writing is lazy, the son/girlfriend is stale, and the mother/daughter schtick is too annoying at this point. Found myself just fast forwarding toward the main BBT/oil development.
Someone please compile a highlight reel of Dale when it's all over. TS needs to create a show around him. He's the only character has me

I just started this show yesterday and binged the first three episodes so I can be ready for the finale.
They need to hurry up and make BBT daughter 18 (27 IRL) so she can get really naked on screen

Yeah, the finale contained what 15 minutes of useful content. Filler everywhere you turn.

This show is completely horrendous now.
They're already out of ideas for the b/c/d storylines.
Remember folks the daughter is supposed be SEVEN-frickingTEEN.
BBT is the only part of the show worth watching.

Haven’t read through this threads past few pages yet but Sheiridan is typical Hollywood scum.
