Last Breath

My birthday was Thursday so my wife and I went on a dinner and a movie date. I looked over what was playing at the theater we like and it was slim pickings.
But Last Breath caught my eye. I didn’t know anything about it but decided to give it a shot.
It was actually really good.
It’s based on a true story about some deep sea divers that have something go wrong during a manifold repair at 300 feet below during a really bad storm in the North Sea.
Woody Harrelson is in it and so is Simu Liu.
It’s a great low key action/disaster style story that takes itself seriously and never goes over the top.
I was happily entertained.
Would recommend.

Saw it on Wednesday and I agree.
It was short at about 90 minutes and simple but the the acting was very good. Woody was awesome.
Very suspenseful
Maybe it’s because we’ve been inundated with trash movies for awhile but it felt like a good throwback

Woody is hilarious. He can be 100% real and serious when he's acting/working, but if you see him outside of a sound stage he is HIGH as Giraffe Pussy every fricking time. It really is night and day.
He really is the perfect example of showing up for work Monday through Friday, 9-5 but frick off when the whistle blows.

I had a good chuckle mid-movie thinking about how seriously he took this role compared to how baked he was on Rogan

Not only is a "true" story, but they opening video is the actual video of the diver when they found him on the manifold. Wild.
Dude went back to work 3 weeks after the incident.

I liked it. Short and a very easy watch. Cast didn't have a ton of chemistry but you were mostly watching for the plot.
