Wallace takes the sub back to civilization where he picks up a solid crew of babes and a pilot. Once back to the island he sends the pilot (not Lapidus) back to pick up more babes.
This process continues until island is near max capacity.

what would be max capacity?
Posted on 4/25/10 at 2:52 pm to The Eric
I'd go somewhere in the 100's of thousands, but I am not sure as to how big the island truly is.

set up some sort of hotel resort near the cave that you have to use the ladder.

Everyone starts running from FLocke and hear the sound of bongo drums on an unexplored part of the island. They follow the sounds and end up on stage at a Beach Boys concert in 1989. FLocke kills Uncle Jesse and takes over on bongos.

I'm not sure what image would be shown, but maybe have Jack thinking about Locke's words of wisdom in "Exodus" that proves he was spot on.

You just know it's going to end with a closeup of someone's eye.

I changed my mind. I think Jack will make a sacrifice to stay on the island so that EVERYONE else can go home.

Everyone dies.
Flocke gets off the island. The world is destroyed.
Cut to a scene with some random guy in a bunker punching number is a computer and hitting enter. The clock on the wall scrolls back to 109:00

Now I'm thinking either Jack or Desmond will take a drink and stay to protect the island.

it ends like this:
MiB is killed by Richard, Jack, and Desmond. His pure energy returns to the island detonating a nuke that Whitmore has brought. Prior to this, Hurley, Ben, Miles, Claire, Kate and Sawyer are fighting off MiB and Whitmore crews. While fighting they find a nuclear weapon that Whitmore has brought to the island. The island explodes upon nuke detonation, but just prior to that all the people switch over to the sideways time line (a la season 6 premiere time line shift/reestablishment). The island breaks up and sinks from the explosion. All Losties are alive and well on Oceanic 815, unscathed. They arrive safely in Los Angeles. They go about their lives as we've seen played out since s06e01.

It turns out that the cork/wine flask analogy is only half of the true analogy which is actually more like an hour glass with the island connecting the flash sideways timeline in 2004 (island is under water) with the current 2007 island reality. Widmore uses Desmond's ability to withstand EM radiation to sink the island sacrificing our heroes but which also prevents MIB from leaving the island saving the world from his darkness. The
Desmond Effect", I will call it, simultaneously restores/raises up the island in the 2004 timeline making it a new permanent timeline/reality. Jack somehow sacrifices himself and fulfills Desmond's prophesy to "raise it up."
This essentially resets the game between Jacob and MIB back 3 years to 2004. The final scene is essentially a repeat of the first scene of "The Incident" with the exchange between Jacob and MIB. Only this time MIB says: You know Jacob, this game is really starting to piss me off. :)
