I tend to agree with you Ryno, although what the significance is, who knows?
Or even if they meant to explain it and/or will explain it.

This thread will exceed 30 pages I predict.

I guess we'll have to hide in the Georgia Dome to escape you. We should be safe there as Ole Miss never makes it to Atlanta.

Just a hunch. seemed like more to it than just telling him to elevate his ankle.

well yeah but i think it has a double meaning implied.

jack's come full circle as a staunch man of science to start the series and now he's acting on faith alone.

to mirror that, he's always felt no matter what iteration we're in (flashbacks, fwd's, island etc) that he has to be in control. finally jack is letting his destiny control him and he is letting go.

Anyone have any thoughts on the significance of MIB clearing out the temple? I understand he's "evil", but I'm still not sure why he had to do that beyond maybe developing the character...

Except for maybe Sawyer, the Candidates would continue to hide in the Temple I'm guessing. He needed to make sure there was no safe haven on the Island.

agreed, i wasn't an ardent jack hater, but i wouldnt put him in my faves either.
this season he's finally fitting the protagonist role well.

if you would have asked me what i thought about Jack being the one to replace Jacob(if that actually does happen) when the season began i would have been greatly against it, now, i am all for it and wouldn't want anyone else.

just read on darkufo... NOT A SPOILER

Michael Emerson (Ben) and Terry O'Quinn (Locke) have talked about the possibility of reuniting on an unnamed show in which they would play bounty hunters.

Now I wish this joke would go out in arab fashion, with a bomb strapped to its chest.

How sweet would it be if Obama calls an emergency press conference at 8pm tomorrow night?

So who becomes the biggest "Star" from their work on Lost. I would eliminate Mathew Fox since he has a longer track record, but among the previously lesser knowns, who do you think makes it big?

I think Terry O'Quinn and Josh Holloway have the greatest potential to do big things in movies if they want to.
