100% positive he said home.
"I want the one thing that John Locke didnt, I want to go home"
Just re-watched it
I guess in my mind, when he was talking about Locke in the real world and not wanting to go back, I just kept in my mind that when he wanted to go where Locke didnt, he wanted to go to the real world.

I think it is pretty awesome that we have been arguing for 8 months whether the bomb/incident would send them back to present day on the Island or re-set them back to LAX...
and the writers said screw it, we're doing both
They've said all along that the show, at its heart, is about the characters. It's a pretty clever way for them to show the viewers how much each character has developed since their time on the island.

but he is being a bitch by blaming Jack.
This is Jack's fault. He refuses to listen to any other opinion but his own and he jumps into things without thinking it through. He always goes off of first impulse. This is almost entirely Jack's fault.

I like how the writers stuck with
Man of Faith/Man of Science with the Locke and Jack conversation at LAX

"I saw the Devil"
Remember... the Devil is a fallen Angel, not the equal counterpart to God. I would say that if the Nemesis turns out to be the Devil, then Jacob should in turn be another Angel... not God himself.

Kinda, sorta, maybe
*Spoilers*
In an interview over the summer, the guy who plays Jacob said that he thought there was a higher power than him and MIB.

One thing that hasn't totally been explained are the children from season's 1&2 that walked noiselessly through the jungle. Is it safe to say that they are dwelling in this new temple we were introduced to last night?

To say that Jacob is good, and MIB is Bad, is not so easy... Good and Bad are obviously Grey...
I am sure both have great arguements as to why they are good.
He manipulated Locke out of his own life. There's no way MIB is a good guy.

I dont see why this a question?
Ben: "take everybody else to the Temple"
this was from like Season 4

i think this was pretty early in the series, and it sure does seem to hint that the MIB was planning his attack on Jacob for a long time... But could Jacob be the one setting the Trap for MIB?
I'm thinking this is more likely referring to what his father does to him later in the episode. I've never noticed this scene in context though.

Thats why I said that I don't think anyone successfully predicted the context of the season.

Thanks I didn't remember that.

After last night, this scene skyrocketed to one of the most important scenes in the show:
During my rewatch of Season 2 I also found the reappearance of Yemi to be very important. Right off the bat I realized that Yemi was MIB. When he appears to Eko in the hatch, he of course was wearing his all black priest uniform and he tells Eko (paraphrasing) "What has happened has happened" - straight up MIB talk. It was the reappearance of Yemi that motivated Eko to get John to go find the Swan station, which in turn made Locke lose his faith about the island (thinking that people in the hatch were subjects of a psychological experiment), which in turn made Locke not want to enter the numbers anymore, which lead to the hatch exploding, which lead to the island being discovered by the outside world, which lead to the Kahana arriving.... (I could go on and on but you catch my drift)
MIB impersonating Yemi was one of MIB's strongest moves.

pretty sure that every person that died and has come back as a vision on the island has been in dark garb.

i havent read this thread yet..but yeah i thought that jacob was in sayid's body as well. the fact sayid didn't visit hurley after he dided made me think something was up with him.
Also, the strange look Miles was giving the body.
That didn't sound like Sayid at the end at all.
What's MIB stand for? This is the first time I'm actually caught up on LOST while a season airs, so I don't know all the abbreviations.

Well Miles can talk to the dead so he would be the one to know if it is Sayid or someone occupying his body

I leaning towards it still being Sayid.
When he revives, he asks "What happened?"
I would assume that if it was Jacob he might have said something else, like "I'm Jacob, bitches!"

This. Or, the fact that he wouldn't have had to ask at all.
