Pete's journey on the show has been my favorite. From my most hated to one of my favorites .
100% agree. I've been rewatching the series and his transformation has been awesome to watch unfold.
"NOT GREAT, BOB"

One of life's great mysteries is how people like Pete frickin Campell

At first, Pete's like that pledge every fraternity has who thinks he's gods gift to women, the fraternity, and earth.
He comes around, IMO, and you can't help but like him. He has some pretty good lines as well.

Pete has been pretty clutch for the company. He's probably as good an account manager as anyone in New York now. His personal life is a total disaster but whose isn't working Sterling Cooper. I loved Pete during the "Cuban Missle Crisis". Pete knows more about the total annihilation of a nuclear war than anybody after he and Dons California trip.

Pete was a smug little bastard but he really stepped up his loyalty with Don after he tried to bust him out as Dick Whitman. He's been absolutely hilarious from California and after. He had me dying in the mid-season finale when he called Ted out for being selfish.

And when Roger told Joan how much she would make on the sale and Pete face when he said he had 10%.

I think he's a smug little prick and thought it was great when he got his arse whipped by Layne Price....but he was clutch in Sunday's episode. That conversation he had with Rodger...everything was gold.
