For me it was Robb's wife getting stabbed in the pregnant belly
This was my immediate thought. Really the whole red wedding was gruesome.

Yep. There are a lot of gruesome death scenes. Ghost ripped out two wildlings' throats and proceeded to eat their intestines.

Quentyn Martell. No contest.

Y'all are forgetting the victims of the Bolton's flaying. Slow agony until death.
Rickard Stark also, if we're looking only at single specific people: slowly roasted.

Viserys Targaryen had a pretty bad death
who did Ramsey skin alive? that was pretty gruesome

The Iron Born at Moat Cailin among others. Yeah being flayed would be a rough way to go.
I think what Ramsey has done to Theon/Reek may be the worst of all. I mean his hair turned white he was tortured so bad. For show watchers, Theon is basically unrecognizable in the books.

The Golden Crown was probably the worst way to die. Though the crushed skull was the most gruesome.
What gets me is how crazy the sandsnakes are for revenge, when Oberyn signed up for the combat and killed the mountain to boot, lol.

Yeah, plus Tywinn is dead. Everyone involved in the sack of Kings landing is dead (as far as they know).
Bitches be crazy though

The show didn't make it explicit, but Loras used a mare in heat, which distracted the Mountain's horse, contributing to his defeat in the joust.

That scene was pretty forgettable in the show because they had some regular Joe Schmo playing the Moutain
If they would've gotten the guy they have now from the start I think more people would be like "oh shite" at that scene
I barely even paid attention to the Moutain at the time because I didn't know he was supposed to be some insane beastly guy

He's 7 feet tall and 300 lbs
You are probably thinking second season Mountain who is like 7'6" and about 135 lbs.

He probably took that girl's head off with his "sword" after that picture was taken.

They should of shown him killing the young boy during the Oberyn fight.

He didn't seem that intimidating in the show, maybe that was the directors fault, but I wasn't in awe of how monsterous that guy was like I am with the current Moutain.
