oh, yeah, Red Dawn! that's another...

It's not about if it's an all-time favorite or one of the best movies ever... some movies just have to be watched when you catch them. There are movies that I loved and think are great movies but I can't re-watch them, at least not over and over.

Cast Away. I feel like I watch it every times it's on TV....great movie to have on while you're doing something else.

Even the oddly sequenced Vietnam segment was good. Most people dislike that part; however, I think the poor transition from boot camp to war was not smooth enough for most.

Maybe I (or someone) should start another thread on this but sometimes when I own a movie on DVD I will still watch it, commercials and all. That is truly a "movie you can't turn off". Or I am just a lazy bastard.
