I feel like this a pretty even final. Although I'm assuming Theo and Adrienne will probably come in 4th. Any of the other 3 teams could win though. It looked like Michaela might have hurt her ankle further though.
I loved how Nany went in thinking she had a chance. Michaela threw her around like a rag doll and it amused me greatly.

Man, the twist about staking a claim will really make the finale different.
Adrienne and Sydney are both clearly unhappy with their partners.
I think Michaela feels bad that Cedric has no chance to win due to her injury.
Yaremy and Olivia are doing well, but I’m sure partnering with Sydney is really appealing to Yaremy.
I’m curious what will happen if multiple people stake a claim.

Sydney carrying Turbo to 1st place. She was so funny this episode. Then Adrienne carrying Theo, lol. Ready for this season to end.

Finally able to watch the first finale episode. What an absolute waste of 90 minutes. There’s no reason this should’ve been split into two episodes. So much tiny shite seems to be dragged out to create drama.
Sydney talks shite and is cocky as hell but she sure is carrying Turbo’s arrogant arse like he’s an injured child. Props to him for not quitting though.
If I’m Yeremi I’m staking a claim on Sydney. 100%.
It’s absolutely ridiculous that first place has to sit around and wait for another team to battle. I’ve always hated when they do this stupid shite.
It’s also sort of bullshite because if you go forever and then lose, you are at a severe disadvantage because you are gassed facing the next team up, who’s also been waiting there for a while. It’s stupid and not very fair at all. It completely erases leads of teams who are doing legitimately well.
Piss poor showing from Turbo and Theo. Outside of Michaela’s injury (and Olivia a bit), the women are performing well.
Turbo shitting on Yeremi’s cardio is laugh out loud hilarious. What a pussy chicken.
Theo is a completely bad look on this final. Michaela nailed it that unless the final is just running around a track Theo is fairly useless.
Several people would be stupid to not stake claims. Cedric and Yeremi for sure. And honestly, Adrienne too. And good on Michaela for recognizing that it’s in Cedric’s best interest for someone to stake him.
Why is the prize money so low this season? $425/2 seems lower than recent years.

Theo is disappointing me in this final. Theo forcing her to swim. She's crying this is awesome.
I enjoyed part 1 very much. Hated the stair master and having to wait for another team. Under Armour paying for sponsorships looking at everyone's clothing around the fire. Wow you can stake a claim. How would that work with the points. Yerami should get sydney. Turbo would lose it. The snow around the mountains reminds me of Total madness final and Exes 2 final

I don't see anyone catching Sydney and turbo at this point.
Oh my god. frick this. Production fricks up again. Sydney and Turbo have gotten absolutely fricked. I would be so livid trying to fight the camera men. They are stealing money from their pockets. Taking food off their table.
The final would have been perfect without those 2 frick ups by production. They over think this too much.

Olivia and Yerami win. What a comeback. Damn. I didn't like olivia since after her rookie season but I'm happy for Yerami and her. She was pregnant and won the challenge.
Turbo gets Air Med out. Damn Sydney deserved that win. frick man. I feel so bad for her.
Gotta give credit where credit is due. That was one of the best endings ever. This season felt like it dragged on but It probably was one of the best seasons since Total Madness.
Few changes I would make for 42. Instead of 19 episodes make it 14 to 15 episodes. Less puzzles and more physical eliminations. This isn't survivor or big brother. No more coin tosses. Have consequences for their actions. No more equalizers for the finale. No more first episode run up a mountain and pick teams if you have to switch partners the next day. Pointless. More alcohol. Location change for the finale.
I'll see you guys for 42 next year. Looks like CT is treating this like a Rocky 4 workout/training session. He's either gonna win 42 or fight the whole cast
Maybe I'll see you next week. Forgot about the reunion which looks like it's gonna be good. Maybe If chicken and cocomo can bring CP3LSU25 back

I’m surprised nobody wanted to stake a claim. I figured that would happen with the way they edited it but still.
I agree with Sydney. Dominating day one and it resulting in basically in a half hour more of sleep is bullshite. I realize they want to make it as even as possible but as usual they revert back to royally fricking the first place team who has kicked everyone’s arse and earned their lead.
I do like when they do these sleep deprivation challenges on the finals though.
Olivia is still bitching about people being against her. But I assume she forgot the first third of the season when her clique dominated the house votes and she was sniffing her own farts nonstop. Theo is saying the same thing, that he didn’t have numbers. But that’s just untrue.
Theo’s explanation of the rope sounds like total bullshite. But still, not sure why you’d leave your rope outside by the fire and not at or near your tent.
Another checkpoint where you have to wait to play someone else. fricking stupid. It’s another time when you building a good lead doesn’t mean shite.
The mountain setting for this final is fricking awesome.
Ten minute penalty for losing connect four? Holy shite.
In all honesty, props to Theo and Adrienne for overcoming everything and actually being in second place at one point. I know they didn’t finish but winning four eliminations is no small feat.
And to Michaela for doing all this with that ankle.
And for Yeremi and Olivia to erase a ten (!) minute deficit and then some.
And props to all four newbies in this final. They are all good, even Adrienne. And they are really good additions to the show. I hope they all come back, especially Cedric and Yeremi.

Holy shite, they passed them now. This is an absolutely epic failure by Turbo and Sydney. And it looks like she was pretty much gassed in the end too. And weirdly, Turbo is completely likable now.
I hate Olivia but good for her for keeping up with Yeremi. That dude is the real deal and will be a huge target on this show moving forward. But he earned this one. And him staking Olivia won it for him. And mad props to Olivia for doing this shite pregnant.
All in all this was the best season they’ve had lately.

I can’t imagine how nonstop Yeremi and Olivia must have been going up that mountain to make up a ten minute deficit and pass everyone.

Great finale. As usual, the first place team is screwed over to keep the final part of the episode exciting.
One thing that wasn’t mentioned yet. Olivia being from Alaska has to help her out. Very cold and high elevation.
You can tell that Sydney and Turbo were affected by the elevation and weather. Turbo’s was more obvious as he had to get flown out.
Sydney’s situation wasn’t as dramatic but she was feeling it, too. She asked if they were in second place when they crossed the finish line and looked absolutely as if she was going to pass out in her final interview.
She is level headed and very smart and was clearly not totally with it mentally at the end.
Being from Los Angeles and the Mediterranean coast of Turkey didn’t prep them for hiking up a mountain in the Andes range

And that was just ten minutes from the last team to leave, after they had already lost to both other teams before. It really is mipressive.
My question is what happens at the end if they pass Sydney and Turbo closer to the peak and S&T had gotten there before Y&O had gotten all the keys in and opened the chest? I assume S&T would have just had to stand there and watch them win? Seems dumb to make them carry keys to open a random chest at the end. The finish line should be the finish line and not have some arbitrary task/challenge there.
I also wish they told us how close everyone was time-wise when they finished...like how much time separated them.
And it was odd that TJ wasn't waiting at the finish line too.

Agree with that and I said something similar. There were times when teams said they literally couldn't see Turbo and Sydney...that's how far ahead they were. And Sydney looked like a different person in that post-race interview. All the color was gone from her face and she looked like she was on the verge of death.

Color me surprised that Olivia kept up with Yeremi and didn't quit.
They had to be setting a monster pace to accomplish it, and they looked the freshest of everyone at the end.
The Reunion show could be interesting.

I'm still shocked they caught up to them. I bet sydney was sick when she lost but like you said she seemed out of it by the end. Yerami also saying Turbo looked like a 67 year old man trying to climb up that mountain.
Shame on TJ for not being up there to congratulate them. Always make it feel more special.

Making Sydney and Turbo wait for the second team at Connect 4 sucked but when they won it gave them another huge lead since the second place team had to wait for the third place team, then play the game. It may have evened out but still I don't like these challenges where building a big lead is meaningless.
