Many people do. In any underground or "indie-focused" music mag, it's constantly referenced as one of the greatest albums ever recorded.

I was pretty sure they had other members, although the album was wholly Mangum's brainchild.
Wikipedia lists Scott Spillane, Jeremy Barnes, and Julian Koste as other members. Allmusic gives Spillane a co-write on every song and full credit for "The Fool"

Yeah I went and checked Wiki too and saw the same thing. I knew he had live band mates, wasn't sure how much they had been involved in the album.
