Yes, my brother and I still quote the "I found a couple of shoshone arrowheeds on that crick there" line every time we are hunting.

The first time I saw it, I thought it was overrated. On subsequent watches, however, I've enjoyed it more and more each time.

Weird like that never goes out of style.

I really didn't know what to think of it as soon as I watched it, but the more I reflected on it, the more I liked it.

The fact that you can't really pin down a timeframe for it helps add to that timelessness, I think. Is it set in the 80s, or are they just so far removed from "civilization" that technology and the like hasn't caught up with them yet?

It's a sweet spot to tell a story.

I think it holds up well.

Oddly enough, the first time I tried to watch it I stopped after 15min and thought it was one of the dumbest movies I had ever seen. I came back to it a few weeks later after my coworker berated me and I laughed my arse off.

The time machine scene makes me cry laughing every time...also every time I have to take a picture for something I do Deb's fist under the chin pose.

I named one of my dogs Tina after the llama. Turns out, she's a fat lard that'll eat anything too. I don't think I could watch it now and enjoy it though.

Definitely holds up. Definitely a polarizing comedy, seems like you either love it or hate it. I've always loved it. Very quotable.

And honestly the overall story is highly underrated. It's one of my favorite endings to any comedy movie. It's pretty much a perfect ending.

Yup.

I've watched it a ton of times, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I discovered there's a post-credit scene.

20 years ago my wife didn't know squat about the movie and my nephew called her from school and got her to bring him some chapstick.

It was a pretty funny movie until everyone else saw it and drove it into the dirt.

It is still great. Watched it with the kids a month ago and they loved it too. It's timeless.
