I won't disagree with you completely, but my point was that he makes solid movies. Sure, it's a particular type of movie most of the time (summer blockbuster, popcorn movie, sort of dumbed down/mindless action entertainment, whatever), but he's good at it.
I just feel like people like to hate on Bay because it's sort of the cool thing to do. I'd even argue for the other Transformer movies as being good, but I've had that argument on here for years, so I won't do that here. But everything he touches certainly doesn't turn to shite. If anything, they turn into mega successful, entertaining, money-printing machines.

People shite on Transformers dark side of the moon, but loved fricking Avengers. Those two movies are the same damn movie.

It doesn't look good but not a complete disaster, just benign and pretty forgettable. Probably worth a watch, but I can't help but think that their heads look like penises with gangrene.

You should know by now that Megan Fox = shitty. Plus, the trailer is vague and doesn't have any real hooks. Every bit of plot or personality that they reveal is just kind of bland and corny.
