The rise of Walt.
It seems like Walt's been pushed to insanity this entire season. Each week he's been more and more beat up. More cuts on his face. More bruises. He's been tased. His family is threatened. He's out of money.
He's pushed against the wall.
Perfect set up for next season to be Walt's true transformation into Heizenberg.

It's a shame this whole season has been about making Gus a more fleshed out criminal mastermind; because you know one way or the other the Walt/Gus schism gets resolved in the next 2 episodes.
Well, as resolved as this show tends to leave things.

Looks like the DEA will have to take Gus down.
The fact Gus covered Pinkman's arse with the medical supplies in Mexico tells me Jesse isn't going to help Walt...and Walt can't take on Gus and all of guys by himself.

Gus has to die for the show to go another year. Walt will save Hank by killing Gus in the season finale. I see Mike hanging around though.
Anyway, last week and tonight's episodes were epic.

Talk about racheting up the intensity at the end of the episode. I can't wait to see what Vince has in store for these final two episodes.
BTW is it just me or does it take anyone else about 10 minutes or so after the episode is finished to just calm down?

That was the best episode of the season so far, took me back to some great season one episodes even though so much has changed.
I have a strange feeling Mike is going to be a big part in how the show swings in the next 2 shows, I can see him finally turning on Gus for almost dying. Ted meeting with Saul's "A team" and bumping his head was fricking epic. Walt now knows he has to go balls out to try and save his family now even if it means getting killed, the next 2 episodes should be great but I don't want it to end.

It's kind of a neat reversal. It started out with Walt having the family and Jesse being the desperate junkie with nothing, with Walt constantly berating Jesse not to contact him at home, and this episode, it's Jesse with the family playing video games and having at least a tenuous future and kicking Walt out of his house (again). I really get why Walt ended up laughing maniacally at his destroyed life and family while lying in his spidery crawlspace.

Yeah, and I think what drove Walt to near insanity at the end of this episode is the realization that his effort to save his family will probably result in its destruction.
The last two episodes are about as good as it is possible for TV to be.

I wonder if Walt will blow up the lab.

The way Gus raced straight back to Hector like a kid who just made an A on his report card supports the relationship theory with the first cook. Wonder if he's going to make a move on Jesse in some awkward Silence of the Lambs type well scene: "Put the lotion in the basket - bitch". Any rate we were all right about that visit happening, but it was a lot faster than I thought it would "go down".
I guess when Sky ironically said she was "just trying to protect the family" was the trigger to set Walt off. That pan to the ceiling was killer.
Mike? I wonder if he is going to be cared for? You could tell Jesse was wondering if he'd ever see him again. Turning Mike against Gus is the perfect plot twist.
The upcoming scenes, the quick shot of the gun spinning on the table, I would think Walt may just think about killing himself, but something will happen to let him know his family isn't safe that way.

Is Ted dead? I saw a little finger twitch, but was that his last movement?

I thought so. Poor guy. I thought he was dirty, but apparently he wasn't. Why was Skyler talking about blackmail? I didn't get the impression at all that Ted was trying to blackmail her.
Where is Walt's money? I know the money under the house wasn't his entire stash. Is it tied up in "investments?" Why didn't Walt keep his mouth closed out in the desert?
