I missed the shirt. I just noticed Barney on the phone and the look on his face.
Good point, whoever said something about Victoria possibly being married. That would be a huge bummer for some of her fans. I've always kind of hoped she would come back, but didn't necessarily want her to be the mother... I will admit that I was pulling for Ted for a split second when they played the Victoria song and showed their faces, but he's still a huge nancy boy.

Thought Victoria was one of the better girlfriends, think she fit in better. Knowing this show, she will not be the mother though.

read on another site that some are thinking it is Barney and Robin getting married and that Ted is the best man, but ROBIN'S best man since that has been said in past episodes jokingly. Which would make since the way Lily said the bride wants to see the best man..HER best man. This leaves Barney to have his brother as the best man.

Victoria had to know that Ted was going to be at the Architect's Ball , Right?
Also, Robin is with him as his date.. and Robin is the one he was about to cheat on Victoria with.
I just can't see this playing out well. She isn't the mom (due to other hints) maybe she just adds some conflict to the story...

You would think so. Also, if she wanted to talk to Ted, she would have gotten in touch when she got back.
I hope they are not going to spend this season going through the girls Ted has previously dated. Or maybe they are going to give him some closure before he meets the mother.

the way lilly said the bride wants to see you makes me believe it was more of a why would the bride want to see you making it seem like it was the skinny chick and not robin.

I don't think anyone wants Victoria to be the mom. I also think the writers can't do anything to blow the fans mind away with the mother reveal. Its almost an impossible feat via lost. I'm pretty sure I won't be Happy with the mother with that said I still enjoy the heck out of this show. Barney turned into a pussy last episode. This show is about ted finding true love not Barney. I like him the way he is
