Was anyone else halfway expecting Lady Loki to be Tom Hiddleton in drag..I'm very happy they didn't go that route

In any case, the fact that they already revealed her this episode makes me 100% sure she is not the big bad of this series

Disney retcons Loki the god of mischief into a simpering beta. It was so much fun watching Loki sit around talking about his feeling. It was gag worthy.

I'm going to have to disagree here; Loki was NEVER a malevolent villain, he was always acting on his feelings.

It burned his arse up that he was second fiddle to Thor, who apparently for a thousand years was a cocky braggart. It was when Thor got banished, and STILL emerged as the favorite; coupled with the newfound knowledge that he wasn't a true son of Odin (feelings!), that he snapped and went "bad".

His opinions of the people of Earth were no different than Thor's prior to his humbling, and honestly no less than Odin's or Hela's (note- Asgardians see mankind as beneath them).

And when he "went bad", he still was mostly out to prove his worth, and to prove a point.
Everything he's done to Thor- I think he feels Thor is indestructible, because he always has been. He's not going to kill Thor, because Thor can't die. So it's just his way of taking shots at him. It's the game they both play, as illustrated in Thor 2 and 3.

This is the weirdest buddy cop pairing I think I've ever seen, and I'm loving every moment of it.

Mobius definitely gets that Jet Ski ride.

You need to rewatch that scene because I did and that does not happen.

— Thor

But then, we've seen Loki stab Thor a number of times. Never seems to bother him. Like I said,
quote:

Everything he's done to Thor- I think he feels Thor is indestructible, because he always has been. He's not going to kill Thor, because Thor can't die. So it's just his way of taking shots at him. It's the game they both play, as illustrated in Thor 2 and 3.

I mean, as an adult, he watched enraged Hulk leap to the top of the arena in Sakaar, for a flying punch to the head of Thor. Thor woke up with a headache.

Loki has probably stabbed Thor hundreds of times, and the response was likely "good one, brother".

She’s credited as “Sylvie” in the show, and the real name of Enchantress is Sylvie Lushton.

English version credits her as "The Variant."

Also, the Enchantress is named Amora (at least the first one).

LINK
Fight starts around 2:20. The only damage Cap does is when he deflects the blast back at Loki.

At 2:21, Cap runs up and lands a solid right to Loki's jaw, which causes Loki to turn his head slightly. Loki then swats him with his staff twice, and that knocks Cap about 15 ft each time.
At about 2:42 Loki literally tosses Cap like a rag doll. That's when Iron Man shows up.
Now, you can say Cap can do this all day, but he was getting his arse beat.

On another note- anyone else pick up on the fact the TVA isn't as all-powerful and all-knowing as they think they are?
As in, when Loki corrected them on the difference between casting an illusion, and creating a duplicate "identical down to the molecular level"?

It really made me wonder- right afterwards, at the Bama Costco Of Death, Loki does something and goes from wet to dry. He says he is using magic to dry himself off so his shoes don't squeak- but they just gave us the speech on replication a minute before. And it's something Loki loves to do.
I kinda wonder if he did that right then, and wandered off somewhere else.

You’re exaggerating literally every part of that scene and ignoring the fact that Loki is armored and his only offensive damage comes from the staff that literally has an infinity stone in it.

As for the Alabama redneck tossing him around, Loki is what? 180-190? That’s a big Ole collard green eating sumbitch and we don’t know what abilities may have transferred over when “lady Loki” inhabited him. And it was pretty clear that our Loki wasn’t really looking to throw hands, he was trying to acquire information. Soooooooooo

Yeah I'm not sure anyone's power level while wielding an infinity stone is comparable to their power level without it.

I'm not here to fight with you on that point. Loki is armored, but his chin isn't, and he takes a Cap punch right on the button without a flinch. He does toss Cap. Cap is supposed to be way more powerful than a redneck, otherwise the Super Soldier project would just be to unleash rednecks on the Nazis and Hydra.

Enough of that, okay? I'm more interested in the fact that the TVA doesn't really understand what Loki was physically doing (duplication vs illusion), and then the fact that he does SOMETHING right as they enter the store. Could he be just drying himself off? Sure, but he's Loki- he's always a couple steps ahead.

It's the perfect opportunity to remind us (the viewer) that he can duplicate himself, "down to the molecular level" (so that means the deplicate is physical and can be touched).
He can fight the Enchantress (that's who I think it is, not female Loki) without being in danger, because he's actually off to the side watching. He can choose to escape unnoticed if he wants, because the TVA sees him enter the portal, so they are looking at tracing "both" Loki's now. Meanwhile he's then free to wander off on his own, or walk up to Moebius at the start of the next episode and explain what he did.

The TVA is telling us it's a Loki variant, but they just flat told us they don't fully understand Loki's powers. If they're wrong on that, they could be wrong on anything, including whether it's actually another Loki, or someone else with similar powers.

It's crossed my mind that Morbius may actually be a timekeeper.

He's just kind of undercover in his own company....He has some king of end game with Loki......just a thought
