As a smoker who tired of these cookie cutter Rogen movies a long time ago I can say I laughed pretty hard a couple times, overall it was a good movie, definitely worth watching once or twice. I thought Zack & Miri was a lot funnier though.

I watched it last night. It was pretty much what I was expecting. I enjoyed it and thought it had a lot of funny parts. I didn't have huge expectations for it but I was satisfied anyway. James Franco was much funnier than Seth Rogen imho.

I don't typically find Seth Rogan funny, but he was pretty good in this IMO. I didn't really buy Franco as a drug dealer or a stoner, so I didn't really think he was that great.
It wasn;t over the top comedy, but had plenty of funny moments and lines throughout. A lot of them were Rogan under his breath.

i was actually really impressed with franco. he pulled off the stoner quite well. and some of the humor you have to smoke in order to understand, but not most or it.
and fwiw, i thought stepbrothers was terrible.

saw it in the theaters, and watched it again last night...both times, i thought it was pretty funny
james franco is a great stoner...him and red make the movie...a couple of my friends are stoners and they act just like franco does in the movie, so i thought that aspect was hilarious
