As for Reynolds, I think we’ve seen what happens when he does other type of roles and it’s usually not great.

Would love to see Ryan Reynolds and The Rock play a different role sometime

I wouldn't mind them pairing up again, they both fit well into the "movies that don't take themselves too seriously" genre.

Ryan Reynolds now has permanent license to break the 4th regardless of his role I think.

Out of all the insanely impossible things they do in this movie, that is the thing you can’t get past?

Ed Sheeran trying to fight the cops was totally believable man.

Did you see the whole movie? The Rock threw the fight. And she could with leverage which he purposefully gave her.

Reynolds = funny and charming
Rock = same rock from every movie / show
Gadot = super hot and allowed to have fun in this one
Interpol chick = graceful neck like a swan, and good rack (subtracted some points for Hollywood continuing to act like Interpol has any real power anywhere)

fun movie

It was what Netflix is pumping out these days.

Think Sandler's The Do-Over.

Over-the-top, everything is whimsical and nothing is serious to a nauseating degree...see Ryan Reynold's character...every line he utters in the entire movie is a "witty quip"...the Rock is boring and neutered. Gal Gadot might as well be wearing her Wonderwoman costume.

I mean it makes Ocean's 11 look like Reservoir Dogs.

You have to really like Ryan Reynolds and like Ryan Reynolds playing Ryan Reynolds or playing a thieving Van Wilder...he gets almost all the dialogue and it's just quip, too cool for school in any dangerous situation, after quip.

It's a try too hard movie..that induces after awhile...because it doesn't let up on "everything is a joke" writing.

Got a lot in common with 6 Underground which I enjoyed in a similar way

After the opening scene where the Alpha Romeos pulled up, I thought: "Looks like they filmed this scene at the same time as the 6 Underground one was shot"

Yup, by far the biggest impression I got from this movie is that I'm getting pretty tired of Ryan Reynolds' smartass shtick. 2nd biggest impression I got was the Gal Gadot is still very pleasant to look at. The 3rd biggest impression I got was that The Rock is not that interesting of a lead, although I think he was given a lot better material to work with in Jungle Cruise.

My girlfriend loves stupid over the top movies and Red Notice was too dumb for her.

Btw the Rock was damn good in Pain and Gain, but plays his Hobbs role in pretty much everything else.

He was too busy trying to find reasons to express his faux outrage to actually watch the full movie.

..or German gas being good 75 years later.

I enjoyed the movie. Just don't overthink it. Until the reveal I was upset that one phone call to one person in the FBI for an ID check was all out took to throw a federal agent in a black site.

The cars running fine with driveable tires threw me for a loop.

And the gun-runner guy sounding like Dumbledore had us laughing every time he spoke.

Its good i liked it but that Ryan Reynolds think at the end...that was weird like...what?

SPOILERS!!!

what was up with that cuckery? The fricked him over clearly show they don't respect him and definitely show they don't want to work with him in any way shape or form and yet he's just intruding himself in cause he like...the Rock? Was his character gay cause I didn't get that vibe but might be the only thing that make sense.

If the director wanted him to join force, he should have just left a note of how he fricked them over like they did and they come find him for revenge then hash it out that a battle between the 2 on 1 wont really help anyone. So they should team up. What we got was just odd.

End spoilers.
