Reese Witherspoon in Election.
Although it just proves she played the part to a tee so I suppose she did a great job. Still, I've not been able to watch her without being annoyed since.

Yes, I recognized that the actor was masterfully portraying a truly evil person who was based in fact if not actually a real historical person. It didn't make me hate the actor.
Now, his role in The English Patient did actually make me hate the actor because of the role he played.

quote:is just a douchebag altogether. I've never met the guy, but he basically plays the same character in everything - a pompous a-hole who thinks that he's the most charming, intelligent person in the world. I just want to slap him in every frame of every movie he's ever been in.
Jeff Goldblum
I really feel bad for Jack Gleason. He'll never overcome that role.

I've never seen Election, but she's been in some really good roles since then. You might want to reconsider and giver her another try.

Not so much hate him but I cant take Dylan Baker seriously in any other role after "Happiness"

He was great in his limited time in Spiderman, but if you'd seen JK Simmons in Oz, he was the ultimate piece of shite character.

Yeah, he's got it worse than even the kid who played Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, Tom Felton.

Dylan Baker is a great actor and brave as shite to play that role in "Happiness" . I just get a little nauseated every time I see him.

James Wood as Lester Diamond in Casino. What a weasel.

Goldblum is a good pick for this. He was a creepy, sleazy guy in The Big Chill. He has kind of been typecast in some similar roles since then.
He "feels" like someone who'd use people the way he has in some roles.

That is probably the role that made him one of my favorite actors. He was great in that role.
Mark Wahlberg in any comedic performance. Can't stand him now.

Sharon Stone in Casino. So incredibly loathsome I still can't shake her being that character.

I don't doubt that and I've seen plenty of her since and really enjoyed her in Walk the Line and Mud, but I still can't get her character from Election out of my mind. She did such a great job of making me hate her, that I now hate her...if that makes sense.
Also, I dare you to watch Election. Good flick, but you're gonna hate sweet Reese.

I have never hated a character in anything, as much as I hate Carrie from Homeland. She borderline ruins a really good show.

Mark Ruffalo in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Samuel L Jackson in Lakeview Terrace. He was such a dick. I didn't ever think I could hate this man.

I may clock this guy if I ever see him in an airport or something.
#2 would be Matt Damon in School Ties. I can't look at him without being reminded what a prick he was.

Seeing F. Murray Abraham in Scarface and then Amadeus, made him an instantly unlikable guy. The next time I remember seeing him was as the inquisitor in The Name of the Rose. He was also the teacher that tried to F over Jamal in Finding Forrester. Has he ever been a nice person?
How much money has he made playing the jerk who also happens to be an ugly man?
